Mikey, I couldn't agree with you more catch and release will be my focus going forward into retirement

Hey Pete...Not necessary to keep every fish you catch...Of course that is my opinion and mine only! Have you been fishing yet? Wright's screwed us all up this year. Pulled the non opening stuff after they had the money for the docks. Now you can't get a hold of anyone to find out what is going on with return of dock rental money or if they intend to open in July. Won't even return phone calls. Not the way you should treat your customers! Let me know when you are coming down again. Would like to see your new place. Have a great Holiday weekend!

Anyone know of any available or have any available please let me know.

There's some guy on here by the name T123456...and a few other numbers looking to buy any type of downriggers and related items. Most likely to resell or something like that. You might want to PM him to see if he has any.

Trolled west out of the mouth at 6am but six running spoon and 4” rapala. Caught 2 browns in the i line planer with blk and gold rapala and lost one more big fish on the same set up. Then boated my biggest brown to date! 13-4! He came on a dipsy down 12 feet with a silver uv stinger. After 7am didn’t move a rod. Tried everything, bumped out farther then back in changed the presentation and quit around 9. But a great (but chilly) morning on the water for sure! IMG_7433.JPG

I would argue that this is targeting the business aspect of marinas and launches, not the use of launches.

I will bet this also means free golf at public courses, not that people can't golf.  But I guess we need clarification from law enforcement.  Let's keep fingers crossed.

Muni golf course in my town opens Saturday. Must make tee time and pay for round online only. Clubhouse closed, no carts and walking only. Social distancing must be observed. Will be a starter there with a list to check names for tee times and payment and make sure social distancing is observed while waiting to tee off. A few more staff on course in carts to make sure social distancing on course is observed.

Let's not screw this up!  It would be great if parking lots were half full or less, but I have a feeling that's not gonna happen.  As far as travel goes I too think it should be minimized, but I'm realistic.  The boat launches aren't exactly population centers so people are gonna travel to fish... Oswego here they come!  I'm hoping by mid May we see charters as it's not like we are going to wait for a vaccine, test at a level to trace,  or agree to stay inside shut down like China!

Not so sure about Oswego. Mayor Barlow shut down Wright's and International before Cuomo's order. I believe that included the launch. He also has a travel ban for Oswego the last I heard.

Good news for sure. Some clear guidance for recreational anglers and having the marinas and launch’s open is at least at step towards getting charters/guides back on the water.  The “No Rentals” policy is a good addition IMO- on smaller bodies of water like Chautauqua where I live the rental boats are usually packed- pontoons with 8/10 people, 16 foot open boats with 4/5 people.  Bigger density of people on these boats than on the majority of charter boats.

Whether there is a bigger density or not on rentals you still cannot maintain the 6 ft of distance ordered by the state when it comes to charters no matter how big of a boat you use for chartering.

  8. It depends on the tv. I had an older smart tv but couldn't get it. Now I have a Roku tv and do have it. It was  about $8 a month or $79 or so for the full year which is what I got. You can buy a Roku pretty cheap and your all set. I think they start around $30 and go up to about $100 depending on the model.
So you just order it through roku? College degree but I'm dumb when it comes to that kind of thing. Lol
