My Terrova pushes my boat 2.5 + gps MPH, I don't use my gas motor

I have the exact same boat I went with the Terrova 24 volt 80# thrust, 60 " shaft, my Lowrance Elite 5 FF is hooked up to it, can't say enough good things about it, love the anchor lock, love the auto pilot, I easily use it as a trolling motor 6-8 hours at a time, depending on the wave action, I replaced my fishing partner with this thing, point it in 1 direction hit auto, doesn't care about wind, weight moving around in the boat, current, waves.......like I said, can't say enough good things

Day break found me at Severne on a beautiful calm Seneca Lake. Immediately set-up South in 137 FOW, wire rod on a black mag Dipsy, #1.5 setting, 350' back, Glo Frog Racer Spin Doctor, with of course a Reel-Hooked-Up fly, braid rod, black mag Dipsy, #2 setting, 400' back, Glo Frog Racer Spin Doctor, and a matching Spin-N-Glo. Went 3 for 5 fish, with 2 nice releases on the surface ALLLLLLLLLL the way back, nice acrobatics, 2.3-2.5 GPS speed, 42F surface temp. Brought home 1 salmon, and 1 laker. Back on the trailer and heading for home at 10:00 AM GREAT day to be out there

One of the BEST, solo, trolling only days on Keuka,so far,   I went 12 for 14, had fish at all levels all over the lake,same set-up as before, Glo Frog Racer Spin Doctors with either a Reel Hooked Up Fly or a Spin-Glo, also had some on a Luhr Jensen #00 flasher, hammered design with peanut flies, mag Dipsies, #2 setting, non-stop action @ 280'/300' back, started out with 3 poles, ended up running 1 at 1 point because no longer after setting the drag down, FISH ON, wire and braid, 1 became seagull food, 3 pot bellied females came home, all the rest were released, but hopefully educated. "selfie" pic is for Erabbit to compete with his "tie"........I have my "hat"

Thanks for that info Sean !  ............"they" sell bigger molds everyday and I'm getting quite the collection and have the lead.......... maybe I'll befriend a bored scuba diver someday and produce my own "speed, weight, depth chart" without spending $75 + for a book

Started out at the State Park, NEW DOCKS !!  started down the East side marking a ton of fish, no takers, was trying new things, in-line trolling sinkers, 6 & 8 oz, started out using 1 oz. 100' back = 10', was using wire rods, Spin Doctors/fly/Spin & Glo's, couldn't get a reading of the depth they were running, I do know, into the wind going 1.96-2 GPS mph 8 oz back 200' (I was guessing 160' down) & I wasn't hitting bottom in less than 100' of water, I will play more with them in the future. When I hit the first 2 story cottage, I couldn't take all the marks anymore so started jigging...........probably if I switched to my go to white tube bait I would have had luck.........but my confidence was hyped up on a silver UV shad jig.........what do fish know anyhow........Went over to the West side, trolled WITH the wind, 136-141 FOW, Mag Dipsy's set @ 300' back & 180' using my ol'stand by Glo Frog Racer Spin Doctor with a Reel Hooked Up Xtreme fly, and my other NEW go to Glo Frog Racer Spin Doctor with a Spin Glo and went 4 for 4 Keuka Lake size lake trout. On the water @ 7 AM off by 11:30,

Nice Sean, I stood at the patio door watching the "parade" of rods coming out of your house and going on the boat    ..............I take solitude in hoping that one of those girls of yours turns that boat into a tubing party boat   .............and if my wife tells you I stood at the door whimpering, remember she lies  I'm thinking/hoping next Thursday for my first of the year outing 

 Mike was defineitly one of my "go to" guys, will surely be missed, R.I.P. Mike, prayers and thoughts to family and friends.
