I just purchased a Lowrance HDS5 Fishfinder+GPS Chartplotter. It came with Enhanced US Basemaps but it can take take Navionics Platinum Plus, Platinum and Platinum Hot Maps with 3D mapping featuring Urboview. Also supports all Lowance high detail mapping and charts on memory cards includign ProMaps, Fishing Hot Spots PRO, NauticPath and Map create Usa Series 7. The definition on local lakes is ok but I need better definition for the St. Lawrence River, Niagara River and Lake Ontario. I also fish the Bay of quinte in Ontario. Any suggestions on what map would be best to purchase?

It was starting to color up and most likely with the rain will be more so.
