Well I could see how it could make a mess. Tried it this weekend on a local lake. Hooked a 4.5 pound rainbow . It got interesting to say the least!!
-
Ok thanks. I read about running of boards but never hear much about flatlining
-
Just set a 300 ft copper rig up . I can flatline that out of the boat like I do with my lead rite?
-
I have also used the buckets before I got a trolling plate. Good cheap fix!!
-
I can put it on the other side. I never thought about that. That makes sense. I have played with the sensitivity and it cleared up some. I will try it on the other side
Thanks

I have a new garmin that I installed in the spring. When using my trolling plate I am getting a lot of clutter. When it is up my screen is super clear. Anybody else ever have this issue and what is the fix?

Man what a work of art. Thanks pap. That link you put up went to his site. Just gotta figure out where to start.

Pap what is nicks screan name so I can get a hold of them ? I really want to check out what he has!

I have made a few trips out with the garmin now. It seems to do everything that I want.
-
Ya that's them. They do look kind of flimsy. I fish a lot of smaller lakes and the walleye boards just seem to be hard to tell if I am getting hits.

Sold!!
Thanks

I have 2 units for trade
Unit 1 is a lowrance x52 unit. That is just the unit nothing else.worked good!
Unit 2 is an eagle fish elite 640c. It has gps puck, all wiring ,transducer, and hotmaps premium 09 chip.
The eagle kept loosing signal. When I put new finder I relised that the nut for the transducer never got put on the unit. The navianics card stopped working in unit. I am not sure if card is bad or card reader in unit is shot. The gps on the unit worked good. If any interest I am looking for LC reels, rigger weights, spoons, spoon boxes and other gear.
Let me know!!!!! I live in center also NY.

I went to the store. I live about an hour from there. The sales guy said they just got them in. They looked pretty cool. Check em out on YouTube.

Have any of you guys tried the new stealth planers. I saw them at fish 307 today. They look pretty cool
-
I was thinking of trying it in another finder. Thanks for the reply guys.

Can I put my navianics chip in my laptop and view it. I want to see if the chip is bad or if the card reader went in my old graph.
-
Yeah first pic is what i am talking about. The big bright tandems.
-
I trolle them for trout in ponds in the spring a lot. I got to believe them on a planer would be a good setup, especially when shallow.
-
Just wondering if anyone has tried streamers for Browns in the spring

Well made a trip today to bass pro to look. After talking to the fellow there I ended up going with the garmin. The price seemed rite and he had nothing but good to say about em. I hope I like it!!!

I have 300ft of copper. Can I use rubber bands to hook to the copper at like 100 ft with the walleye boards so it doesn't hurt the copper.
