  1. Thanks everyone, I fish every weekend weather allows and have no issues cranking them up. I was planning on upgrading my manuals this year already I broke a housing on one at the end of the year . As far as the money part I've learned time and time again buy once cry once. I agree that it could be more convenient The only time I got sick of cranking the ball up was the first time we targeted lakers lol

In regards to battery draining how bad is it? I would wire them off my main and my kicker dose not charge it. Would it be a matter of cranking the main motor a couple times a day or do they flat out kill batteries?

  2. Hey fellas, well it's official I'm hooked I haven't walleye fished at all this year due to my new obsession with screaming drags! I now have 3 springs and 1 full summer under my belt learned a lot was very successful this year but what's the next step as salmon start to stage? Do I go back to a spring type setup as they move in and how much longer do you think they will be active for? Will the lakers stay consistent out of olcott or do they start congregating more towards the bar as fall m/winter rolls in? I know it's a bit long winded but any advice would be appreciated!

  3. So I'm shopping for a new unit and looking for a 50/200 for two reasons, obviously marking fish but I don't want to have problems when my subtroll is gone and I go to fish hawk. there are many more units standard with a 83-200 so to you guys that run 83 can you track balls mark fish just fine and if you have a fish hawk do you have interference issues?
