I run straight coppers off the outriggers even an occasional set of dipseys, running the deeper dipseys off the gunnels and a 2.5 set off the outriggers.
Trophy Runner is rigged and ready to go. This is just some pics to share for those just starting out. I have been rigging salmon and trout boats since the early 70's. not saying this is the way to go, but this works for me. If someone benefits from the pics, then I didn't waste the time to post it. The secret lies in spreading the set with multiple rods and multiple depths, using a combo of riggers, wire dipseys, lead cores and coppers, not to forget the top water planer board fishing in the spring. This current rig uses two big Jon's for side riggers, I run a manual penn for the probe off the back and an additional rod if the riggers are hot. Cannon tracks off the sides to run your dipseys, lead cores and copper. Sometimes I run the coppers out on the outriggers, some times the boards.
