  1. Have observer for Wayne County Pro Am. Still looking for one for Oswego.
  2. Amateur boat needs an observer for the Oswego and Wayne County Pro Ams. The Oswego Pro Am is Saturday July 9 and Sunday July 10. The Wayne Pro Am is Saturday July 16 and Sunday July 17. The observer must attend the Captains Meeting the Friday evening prior to each of the events (usually lasts approximately 1 hour) and be at the assigned boat no later than 5:00AM each morning. Call Rob @ 518-505-9330 or Tony @ 518-396-6752 for more details.
  3. larryb, Not sure what the model number of the Autohelm Autopilot is. I will find out tomorrow and let you know. Manufacturers specs say the draft is 32" (max).
  4. Thanks, Diversion. I use trolling/drift bags on my current boat (25' SportCraft Sport Fish) and sometimes (depending on wind, current, etc) I still can't slow the boat down enough. Was hoping to try to avoid that with my next boat. Do you have that problem occasionally, too?
  5. Looking at a new 31' boat with twin inboard 8.1 Mercruiser Horizons on it. They do not have the DTS system on them. I'm concerned that I won't be able to throttle them down enough to achieve optimal trolling speeds on Lake Ontario and can't seem to find out from the boat or engine manufacturer. Any of you guys with the bigger boats with twin engines have any idea if these will do the job or if I will need other equipment to slow the boat down to trolling speed? Mercury told me that the DTS system could not be installed on these (would have had to come from the factory with it). So, I guess I'm trying to figure out if I need to sink more money into before I even get started. I would rather not put a kicker on it and don't know if there are any other solutions out there.
  6. Still looking. If interested please call me @ 518-505-9330. Thanks. -Rob
  7. Still looking, guys. Anyone interested?

  12. For the Oswego Tournament: Must attend a mandatory meeting with me Friday at 5:30PM behind the EconoLodge Hotel on East First Street in Oswego. At the meeting the tournament directors will assign you to a boat. The meeting ends around 7:00PM. On Saturday morning I will meet you at the Wrights Landing Marina at 4:30AM (we need to have you on the boat you are assigned to at 5:00AM). The boat you are on will come back in at 1:00PM and the weigh in is from 2:30PM to to 3:30PM (you have to stay with that boats team and cooler until the weigh in is completed). Same thing for Sunday. For the Sodus Tournament: Must attend a mandatory meeting with me Friday at 5:30PM at the Sodus Point Fire Hall on Bay Street in Sodus. I will let you know where we will need to meet in the morning. All other details are the same (meet at 4:30AM on Saturday and Sunday so we have you on the boat you are assigned to at 5:00AM). Let me know if you are interested in either or both.
