  1. My shift boss in his 30’s ,was a marine sniper overseas, came out with the statement,” a couple guys need to be shot here,” he also brags every pre shift SAFETY meeting about killling millions of people playing an online game with his phone. Still working here, the bosses know all about it. I really pity my children and grandkids, they also had a school threat and the kid was expelled.

  2. Looks like the boat is at least a 22fter, kicker and trailer newer, canvas, 4 riggers, planer reels, I see probably 8 grand worth of gear , boat and trailer, worth a call at least, seems like it needs to move.

  3. I spent a lot of falls up there, was excellent in early 2000’s. That stud I saw online at the Quinte forum and passed it along here, wish it was me!

  4. According to recent deer tracking studies out of Penn State, November buck movements peak at around 2pm and 2am. I’m curious as to the how the fellow hunters here with cameras out feel about that. I got a slammer non typical here in pa on camera nov 3rd at high noon.

  5. If they are refillable batteries that need water checked periodically, remove them to the garage, I’ve suffered dry cells over winter with the charger on maintain.

  6. You’re probably too young to remember the Baker climbers, they would fall out from under you if you stood too close to a tree with slick bark, real treat, also had a TSS stand actually collapse climbing a wide tree. It’s a wonder I didn’t get hurt with that junk. You can’t beat the climbing sticks and a hang on, my preference for today’s tree hunting.

  7. We all had to sign a waiver releasing the owner of all liability if we wanted the last 6 weeks. Basically he had all the bases covered.
My opinion was they had all intentions of keeping it closed until the regulars saw all the other marinas open for weeks.

  8. Need to clear up my situation, I’m in a private community with their own slips in a stoned off area, excluded from public use and rentals, paid in advance. The slips were under water till mid summer

but didn’t open until the first week of sept, when down the road they were open a full month already. They only needed to be pressure washed, no damage from wind and waves. I’m new there this year, some of the regulars pressured the owner for some use before the season closed, they finally opened in September. I used my slip for 13 days.

  9. I read a story on GLAngler mag I believe the editor went in the water when the boat he was in took a swell over the transom , then it couldn't drain fast enough and took another, boat sank in a hurry and they were in the water quick . Dave Mull and 3 others were in the water for 3-4 hours. A fouled prop started the chain reaction, too much weight at the stern trying to clear the prop, a couple swells and down she went, 18 ft boat. The story is on the web, no adults wearing vest, one child did have his on. Coast guard had too search for 2 of the 4. Lucky it was summer.
