Fished Mexico 8/22 in the afternoon 150 -250 fow . Never moved a rod . Piss warm water top to bottom. So on 8/23 in the morning, I went to 500-600 fow . Had temp 125-140 down . Went 5-6 with kings . Had my deep rigger down 140 ft with a rocket that took two kings . A 130 rigger with FF took a king . A 350 dipsey with FF took 2 kings . I’m hoping this wind the next few days bring in some cold water . I will be back Monday- Friday next week . 

Fished Wednesday afternoon  in front of big river 140- 300 FOW. Didn’t move a rod. Didn’t mark many . Thursday morning, I fished 115-140 FOW . Riggers parked at 110 and 100 ft with spoons. Took 2 kings and one tiny brown . Boy, fishing is slow .

Got up here around 11:30 , headed out to 350 fow . Went 5-6 , all kings . 100 ft and 140 ft down , all FF bites out in front of the plant .

Fished Monday afternoon by plant 150-250 fow . First skunk this year . Went out this morning in 80-100 ft for browns. Pick up 1 king and 2 browns. 

Fished 7/6 in afternoon, went 4-6 on kings . By plant 180-300 fow . Riggers 70-95 FF and meat  on deep rigger . Fleas are bad , had to clean lines every 30 minutes. 
7/7 fished in morning, same area and depth. Went 2-4 . One steely and one king .

My buddy is out there now, 1-2 . A coho . I was going up Tuesday- Friday. Just called and canceled my reservations. Forecast don’t look good.

Fished this morning in front of the river . The west wind from yesterday, pushed 73 degree water in Mexico bay . Went 2-3 , 1 brown and one king in the warm water .

Fished today in front of big river . 140-120 fow , down 80-100 ft . FF. 1 ft or less today . Ended day with 4 kings. Got blown off around 3:00. More like 3-6 ft waves. Never trust the marine reports.

I fished Wednesday the 17 th, In front of the big river. 120 fow, 80 ft down. Picked up 3 kings. Fishing was slow, but should  pick up . I’m going back up this Wednesday and Thursday. 

Fished 9/1 in front of salmon river in 80 fow of water . We went 5-8 . Riggers parked at 70-65 down . FF , Dipsey’s out 210 ft . FF . Took one hit on j plug.

Monday fished by plant in 150-180fow. Temp was high, 20-45 ft down . Fished from noon till 7:00. 3 kings and a good brown .

7/20 fished from 6:00 till noon. Same area as yesterday. Temp still high , 20-45 ft down . Went 3-7. 2 Browns and 27 lb King . FF and spoons.

No bananas today.  Lol.  Were 0/1.  Very slow but still a great time with good people.  Fishin with this guy is a trip:lol:   
we hit on a rigger and fought him for 5 min.  Then he stopped head shakin and pulled in a ballon.  Just my luck.  Definitely a fish but must have tangled in ballon on the way up and dropped him. 
    Gonna give it another hour or so and call it quits for the weekend. 

I just bought a fish hawk and went out of Olcott for my first time. I tried running spoons and a flasher fly but got nothing can anyone help me with what speed I should be looking for on the fish hawk. Please and thank you

Fished in front of big river today . Waves 1 ft or less . My ass , more like 2-4 ft with some 5’s . Fished 11:00 - 6:00 . 2-3 today. In 160 fow , rigger 100 ft down with fake meat rocket took all the hits . Very slow .

Fished 8/10 by plant . 11:00-6:00 . Started in 150 fow, trolled out to 400 fow and back. 0-1 first skunk of the year.
Fished 8/11 out by dunes. 135-150 fow. Marked a lot of fish . 1-1 one brown . Fishing is slow this year.

My buddy sent me that. All chater on the radio is the same across the fleet.  REAL SLOW.  Just had my first bump and let go. 

Got Lowballer on the deck.  Were in 250FOW just got rods in.  Makin a good amount of fish between 100-50ft.  Temp 48 down 130.  No takers yet.
