Kept a few bass yesterday , filleted them out and they had grubs and black specks all over in there meat, does anyone know what the black specks are?

Hit the water tonight again. 2 pike 2 bass 1 walleye and a ton of rock bass .. Kept the couple bass we caught and they had white grubs in them and black specks in there meat, anyone else ever see the black specks before?

My son and I fished a local river again tonight , caught 2 walleye , 6 pike and numerous smallmouth and rock bass ..

Thanks, we fished again last night and only caught 3 bass and a pike until the Mosquitos carried us away.

My son and I went out in the local river tonight , caught 1 walleye 4 pike and 2 bass and 1 fall fish and lost a couple other fish.. Not too bad for 2.5 hrs ...

I sure found out what zebras mussels were this weekend ..they cost me a lot of weights

Interesting couple days fishing odgensburgh waddington area,found the locals up here don't share there information much at all ,,a few older guys we met tried to guide us in the right direction. But mostly all tight lipped...it was a challenge for us with all the weeds floating and such strong current .. Something I'm not used to fishing in... But the kids had a blast fishing .. And many thanks to Kevin and prof t for always willingly sharing there stories on this board ..

If it wasn't for your guys pictures of your walleye , I wouldn't think there r any in the river .. Skunked today on them and gonna try odgensburgh tomorrow ..hopefully we have better luck

Holy weeds!! We r up by massena and not having any luck with walleye ...but have caught a lot of floating weeds !!!

Going to b up by massena waddington area fishing this weekend for walleye with a friend from up there ..: prob b a big challenge for me fishing the river .
