  3. Just back from Kelleys Island and what a amazing trip this year, over 100 walleye and it dident matter where you fished but Kelleys shoal on the east side was on fire. Trolled stinger spoons and mostly 3-d worm harness and had no problem getting fish. Wheather was great all week ,had a few windy days but still fishable. Was a good time and already planning for next year, I hope to atleast get to westfield a few times this summer and was wondering if anybody has any info on places to stay around there. Thanks
  4. Well where should I start, hmmm lets just say to make a long story short I have a 2009 115 e-tec and after two blown injectors and countless trips to get fixed I called BRP and asked if they would replace the last two and they did. I asked if this was going to be a constant issue and couldent get a yes or no? So far it running fine but each time a injector blew the motor reacted differently, first time the top end was about 25- 28 mph and thought it was a fuel filter , second time dead in the water . Just some useful info was e-tec owners forum , check it out. good luck
  5. I will be looking for your post and hope it is helpful. We plan on hitting kellys shoal, gull island shoal [d-can ] and I have done very good on the east and south side of kellys. Going to use the go to baits, worm harness, rr, husky jerks and I always throw a few ms spoons at them chicken wing color is my best.
  6. Very helpful info, headed to Kellys Island May 11th for a week. This will be our third year out there and I must admit that I had never walleye fished before but I have learned a lot in the last two years. We usually go the first part of June but moved the trip up a bit sooner. Thanks for the info and any other bits of info will be helpful. I will post the results of my trip when I get back.
  7. giants 35 pats24 and iam guessing i will drink 8 beers lol
  8. If Hannah Marie dosent pick up the spoons send me a pm. thanks
  9. Here is a few pics of oakies and how I store them. I put them in a small stream that flows all winter and keep throwing leaves in every few weeks, this process works very good for me but I know other guys store them differently. To find them I start looking around bow season and just find a small stream and pull the leaves that are IN the water and pull the leaves apart to find them, when you figure out where they are I dont even pull the leaves apart I just put them in a pail. As spring gets closer and if I dont have enough I will use a quater inch screen and flip the stones around and look for them in the screen, but if you have the time get them NOW before the stream freezes as it makes the process almost impossible and cold. Be prepared for sore legs and back but I always have fun getting them.
