I've got a FLTA Captains Challenge Tournament this weekend on Seneca. Any sign of the nasty FLEA'S? Wanted to do a pre-fish. Just running out of time. I know the flees pop up in certain areas while other areas will be clear. I also heard possible floating weed pods. Any info on that?

Okay, any idea how to keep them off the spoon fly or pencil plug. Thats what the fish will see. Perhaps no swivel or ring? Anybody tried it?

No catfish, but I did take a bottle of bleach and water in a spray bottle with me.

Went to the lake Friday evening and got in a couple hours troll. Set up south of the Waterfront on west side. Caught 1 laker and lost a nice chrome fish on black and purple spoon 15' down over 125 fow. Saturday morning four of us took off on a north troll from the Waterfront and caught 3 lakers in first hour with green dodgers, spin doctors, flies, and spoons 40 - 80 ft down over 125 fow. They shut down for the next hour, mean while I noticed a lot of fish spooking away from boat that where suspended on or near the top. Headed for the bluff and set up some shallow lures with long leads and GAME ON. Speed set at 2.2 mph. The copper rod performed best with a 100' of line out, with a 71 sutton. Down riggers and church boards also worked set for 5 - 35 ' down. Caught one 3.2 lb. rainbow and caught 14 plus Lake trout. Hunter Bodine with keepers in photo. Plan on going to Owasco with my number one crew Hunter and Jack Sawyer for tournament. Would like to get a pre fish on Owasco. I'm working the NLTD weigh in on Sat am. Good luck to you guys in the NLTD.

Here is a couple pictures of Hunter Bodine's smally caught and released off his Grand mothers dock on Keuka Lake today. I pray the water drops prior to any high winds.

Anyone have any info on who won the boat. I sold tickets for the drawing and have buyers asking me who won. Like to give them the info so I may sell them tickets again next year.

Mike, Could you have your dad bring me a couple of your Iron Duke fies to the meeting Wednesday (If they are for sale, how much)?
