  8. Ive lived on owasco and cayuga lakes for over 25 years and have never seen massive die offs like the ones we've had in the past five to ten years. It's also happening on Skaneateles. Temperatue related die-offs in early spring that happen due to a freak warm-up are understandable. Especially to baitfish. This has been anything but a rapid warming weather pattern. It's affecting warm and cold water species. This does and has concerned me for years as well as fish with lesions on them. It's also why I no longer keep a DEC diary as I was told every year as issues occurred that fishing was great and there was no concerns. I'm not a biologist but I am on the lakes alot and notice the changes....let's leave the politics aside and address whats happening. Water quality has to be a factor
  9. I think its a great idea. You cant compare putting a splitshot on to running leadcore. The action must have alot to do with it since some days the one or two leadcores outfish the riggers and dipseys. I run a 2 and 3 color especially after the morning shoreline bite dies and the bait is in the 15-30ft area. I think it imparts a different action that sometimes the fish cant resist

  13. The larger spoon is 3.4 inches long and .018 thick it is 1.1 inches at its widest point and is a light weight flutter spoon. It has a nice wobble when trolled anywhere from 1.5 to 2.2 mph. It is just a shade thicker than an evil eye lure if you are familiar with them. I also have them smooth with white on the front and a nickel back. hope this helps
  14. Here are pics of the painted blanks...in 3 inch there is white both sides, steelhead red/nickel back and polished nickel....in the 2 5/8 in there is chartreuse, white and glow in the dark...all both sides...these will be sold for the same prices as above post...thanks
