Did alot of the same as you this weekend with the riggers out fishing the divers for the first time all season for me! I love those rigger KINGS! The Gator was my MVP.

Nope, was out Sat. morning and still plenty of fish to play with! Just got float around and find them when you do game on. Best bite was on spoons off the riggers down any were from 50- 60 ft down. Hope it helps and good luck if you make it out!

Was out of Sandy last night also, for a few hours after having to drop my 3yr. old off because he got sick!! But when we got back out it was non stop action for us riggers and divers just could not keep them in the water! Got to love it

I agree with Brian! It seems like it is happening more and more on this site. Thanks for the info Tim, I am to in the process of switching over from Cannons to Scotty's and this is the first time i have ever heard any bad about them.

Man you guys are kind of making this pretty easy to switch!! Who has some they want to get rid of?? Prolly no one!

Finally had a chance to see Scotty riggers in action yesterday for the short time we stayed on the water with the 6-7ft chop! I was very inpressed with how solid and fast they were! Also seamed very user friendly. I currently have Cannons on my boat but am serioulsy considering switching over! Was wondering what all the guys who use them now or in the past thought?? All positives and negatives would really help me out with a decision!

Was wondering what type of attractor people prefer to use when running meat? What size/ color.... never ran meat before but hear that if you want the BIG one to run meat and run it deep! Any thoughts about it would be great!!

They also make quick change swivals that are just like the ones that come with the spin doctors. You just tie an overhand knot on your leader and wrap down the end of the swival. It almost looks like a spring. I will try and pull one out of the boat and take a pic.

Thanks to all !!!! I was out Sunday morning and tried a few differnt things. I bent the bottum fin on the weights a little bit to make one pull to the port just a little and bent one to the starburd and labled them. Maid a bit of a differnce for me . Also the down currents were pretty strong yesterday as they usualy are out of Sandy so i let each down nice and slow. All in all no crosses as of yet and hope it remains that way for now on.

Awsome!!

I was out wed. night and had my rigger cables on the starburd side cross over each other NOT FUN! Not to mention one was my sub troll cable. I was running a 12.5lb torpedo style like seen sold on this site on the outside and a 14.5lb straight out the back on the same side of the boat. I run the 14.5lb on the rigger with the probe to help with drag. No hard turns made and very little if any blow back accured before they crossed. Any one have any idea why these might cross like that? It has happened twice this year and i cant have it happen again. The boom on the outside is extended as far out the side as possable. First year trying these rocket/ torpedo style weights but have heard nothing but good about them from everyone on this site!

Nice job Ritchie i had to work this morning . I'll be out in the AM for sure! So far i have heard of nothing good going on this morning so far.

Finally convinced the wife that the Shootout is more important then going on a vaction with her family!!!! So now i will be fishing it again this year and can't wait! Was wondering if you guys were planning anything for the Sunday after if the weather is good? And as always if there is anything i can do to give you guys a hand just let me know!
