  1. Thanks Guys !!!! Nice seeing all you too.... Yeah Dave had an FLTA tourney over there Sunday and heard the fishing was hot and they weren't lying .... That fishery has been good to us several years in a row now and it doesn't seem to be dieing off which is AWESOME  ...... WE caught quality fish all day... And Congrats to the the REEL HOOKED UP crew they did a extremely healthy batch of big fish !!!!

  2. Left Deans Cove and headed south pulled up shortly after Sheldrake and set up shop.... Wasn't long before we had fish on the riggers... Rainbows and some salmon done on the cheaters about 40ft in 100 fow, fished south a little further and decided to cut across to the east side and man did me run into some really nice laker action ... Spin docs fly combo where hot especially on the wires ... Had a great day overall caught about 20 fish and I lost a decent fish at the back of the boat that we never saw but I'm sure it was a nice off fish :( .... But that's fishin ......

  5. The bottom line is the south end has great temps on top but about 30 ft down its 42 degrees again we need some moon phases to roll her over and start to bring some thermoclines in .... Its times to look to the middle of the lake around Glenora and Peach Orchard the fish and bait are there just got to wait for them turn on again... Good Luck and Tight Lines....

  6. Definitely drop the mono... When you have that much in the water the mono will flex so much that it wont pop... Go with wire all the way no flex and you will be directly hooked up with the fish for the ultimate fight .... Good luck and tight lines!!

  7. Awesome job guys.... Funny how those last minute trips turn out to be good ones.... Love the pics of your little one and the Laker on the floor that is as big as her... Nice fish and great report ... Gotta get over there soon and do some pre fishing for our next tournament ....

  8. The way the landlock and rainbow fishing has been over there latley you should be fine with some top lines in the morning and run your mini downrigger with a long leads...... Run sticks and small spoons like rapalas and stingers and you should be fine.... Run in close to shore in the morning and move out as it gets brighter........ Good luck...... I would save the jigging for mid afternoon in about 100 fow around the points.....

  9. Fished Owasco today, launched in south end and ran north til just south of Burtis point and set up shop.... Ran 5 color core, 300 copper and rig rods and down rigger in 80 to 160 fow, marking a ton of suspended fish and bait between 30 an 100 and all kinds of big arches on the bottom..... Instantly had fish on, most lakers came 30 to 100 but all where about 4lbs or less.... So started working on the big arches 150 down but could not get any of those fish to fire?????.... Went 12 for 13 all Lakers worked hard for some off fish but no luck, All fish came on o&m fire tiger 44's and 50's , Even took the fire tiger of the bottom of the rig and moved it up 2 liters and they came up and got it , so that was the hot ticket item today for sure....

Kept some great eating size lakers for some friends....

  11. Right in the south end has slowed a bit real good mud line there though..... If you launch in Watkins I would say fish the west side and start at the salt plant and head north you will get in them .... Did pretty good in that area Sunday and Monday.... Most fish came 0 to 40 foot down and in 100 fow.... Orange and Green where hot colors...
