  5. First let let me say that I was very impressed by the turnout.. I know sometimes on tough fishing days it's easier to just go home after a non successful day of fishing but that wasn't the case we had 20 boats and 20 Gentleman Captains and their crews showed up to honor their bets.. We had a 50/50 raffle that half was supposed to go to the South Seneca Sportsman's Club for so kindly letting us use thier venue for our weigh in and John Wild (Nautitroller) won and donated his half back to the Sportsman's Club making it a 225.00 donation.. Way to go John!! We also did some raffles with the remaining 50/50 tickets.. Iron Duke Trolling Flies donated 3 Flasher Fly combo's and Quality Time (Wes) donated 10 Quality Time Flies as well.. But the Keeping it Reel Team stole the show with thier first place box (26.34) lbs including lunker (8.37 lb laker) winning them the Cayuga Lou All Cup, Gambler Rig prize for biggest lake trout( thank you so much Brian Gamble for donating that prize to us) and overall lunker for the day.. Way to go Joe, Josh, Nick, and Butch AWESOME JOB GENTLEMAN !! Second place went to Nautitroller with a box of 26.23 lbs. Third went to Kayslay with a box of 24.40lbs.. Fourth went to Ella Mae with a box of 24.18lbs and Fifth went to Fisherdude with a box of 15.76 lbs.. But the real prize was we all got together and got to see each other face to face and share a good meal and talk fishing that's what it's all about.. What do you say we do it again next year?? Thanks again to the South Seneca Sportsman's Club we appreciate you welcoming us in and the great meal you prepared.. I also wanna thank Wayne Sherwood (fishbowl) for helping me out tremendously today.. Thanks again Wayne.. Also almost forgot to thank Corey (Redeye) and Bill (darkwater1) for helping us get the venue ... Thanks guys.. Mike Team Keepin It Reel Team Keepin It Reels goodies they took home for the day.. 9. Well the time is almost upon us.. It's looking like we still have 23 boats that are currently signed up, if I have missed you in the lineup or not added you or not taken you out please let me know by the end of the night or you are in the fishing contest.. We did have a few drop out today and yesterday.. Know they're calling for some wind guys so let's remember safety safety safety if you think it's way too rough for you to be out there fishing it's probably way too rough for you to be out there fishing so fish at your own risk and wear your PFD'S.. If the wind is out of the South and blowing hard remember some of those coves after points and between points on the west side will definitely have calmer water than the middle or east side... I hope everybody has a great time out fishing tomorrow and can't wait to see everybody at the weigh-in by 3pm good luck to all and see you tomorrow... When you get to weigh in make sure you get to the sign-up table and drop off your gentleman's bet and pick up your raffle tickets so that we are all ready to go for weigh in... 15. Okay guys we are getting close as of right now we have 24 boats I do however expect it grow by Saturday a little bit.. The weather is not looking as bad as it had earlier looked .. I checked out a few different weather apps and weather sites and it looks like they are calling for south-southwest winds at 9 to 11 mile per hour and a 40% chance of rain showers still a few days out yet so we all know that could change so let's keep an eye on but if it's anywhere as close to what they're calling for, that to me sounds like a perfect overcast day and and just the perfect amount of fish chop to get those fish chomping , should be an awesome day of fishing.. I just talked to Corey from the South Seneca Sportsman's Club and he let me know that there will be pulled pork sandwiches and salt potatoes available for purchase at weigh-in or after weigh-in.. That was very nice of them to do so let's buy a couple sandwiches. Also I am going to do a 50/50 raffle the tickets will be available for purchase $2 a piece or 3 for $5 before weigh-in I will have somebody going around selling them half the money will go to the winner and half the money will go to the South Seneca Sportsman's Club for their generosity at letting us use their venue for our weigh in.. I'm also putting together a couple smaller door prizes that will also be raffled off with those 50-50 tickets so after the 50/50 drawing we will do two more drawings at least of smaller prizes to be given away.. Don't forget Gambler Rigs is giving a very generous prize to the biggest lake trout weighed in for the day I got the box in the mail the other day from Brian and I'm sure the winner will not be disappointed lol..
