_{I had my Baha's swim platform removed and cut to accommodate the Panther Motor bracket. So now the swim platform is now 3/4 and my 15 hp. four-stroke Merc is solid to the transom. I considered mounting to the swim platform but didn't want the kicker motor that far behind the boat when landing fish. KJ has some very good suggestions as well, good luck!}

Frogger is right on!  I had the same problem with one of my Cannon Mag 10, I sent it to Lake George Fish 307 and received it back in two days, as it turned out, the connection to the spool wasn't right making the auto stop to work. Cost me like $27 but could have easily fixed myself if I knew what the problem, was. Easy fix trust me. I believe the coated cable needs to stripped back assuring the connection at the ground. Good Luck.

Totally agree with the Fish Hawk, had the 840 in my previous boat, worked OK, now have the X-4 in the Baha and it works flawlessly!

Sorry to hear that Gill-T, I had a 15 Mercury kicker motor stolen from my boat back in '97, cut the e-z steer bar off as well as the chain lock. A very violating feeling from bottom feeding low-lifes. Any chance of an insurance claim?

14 miles West of Oswego is Fair Haven (Little Sodus Bay) the Brown fishing there can be spectacular.

 Totally agree with Total Chaos, I own the same trailer with same Boat and is by far the best trailer I've ever owned. Did have to make a few adjustments to it like moving the axle toward the rear and the bow forward, fits like a charm trailering 400 miles to get to Lake O....................Pete

I just don't get it. That is a great price for these spoons. $7 in the stores. It amazes me how little we get and people still want them for nothing.

Have you looked at the Penn Yan 257 Aggressor for sale on this site. The boat is very well maintained, come with a lot of gear for fairly cheap money. Check it out for sale by Patriot.  Mikey P. is right, to find a good boat you looking at $20K +. He knows a lot about fishing boats. In fact he just bought a Mint Baha, can't wait to see it.
