I'm gonna try to be out thurs, fri, and/or sat evenings.

Set up in 100 FOW around 6:00 after work with my wife, Nikki and our friends Brud and Tracy. We ran 2 riggers (45 and 90) 2 wires (200 and 250) and 2 coppers (300 and 500). Didn't take long for our first fish. Tracy fraught a teenage king for 40 min on the 500 copper. While fighting that, the 90' rigger fires and I hand the rod to Nikki. She hauls in a 10 lb laker. Set the 500 copper back up and 30 min later it's screaming. I hand it off to Nikki. An hr later we get this 21.5# king in the net.

She was kind of tired after that battle so the first pic had to do. Nikki got another teenager to make us 4 for 4 for the evening.

I have penn 345 gt on a okuma copper rod. Took two kings tonight when everything else was silent. Wes at slippery sinker always has them in stock

This yr started late for me as we have been very busy at work. However, it has been one of the best starts ever. We have caught at least one major in 3 out of 4 trips this yr. The one trip we didn't, produced s few teenage kings. It's all about adapting to conditions and changing your program to give the fish what they want in those conditions.

I'll buy 3 for $115 shipped. I can get them new at north woods for $53.99 each. Just throwing it out there. Thanks for responding.

We worked from 100-150 with bait and hooks throughout.

I hear ya. Always something to spend $$ on when u have a house or a boat.

I ordered from there on Friday. Less than $230 for 24" track and 3 ratcheting rod holders. That will do one side now I have to save up for the other side.

I was looking to buy a 24" track and three ratcheting rod holders. 24" track wasn't listed on their site so I called them. I received great customer service and they charged me the store price of $53.99 for each rod holder and $48.99 for the track. This is way better than any Internet price anywhere.

I heard about that while at baseball practice yesterday morning. I'm glad you guys were prepared and made it back safely. Nice job on the kings and hopefully you'll be back at it without too many repairs. The kings are back in olcott

Started at 12:45 after baseball practice. Set up in 100 FOW right out of the chute on a westward troll. Ran spoons mag diehard and purple spoons on 55 and 85 riggers with orange chartreuse sliders. Ran nuclear green 11" e chip in front of a meat rig on 200 diver and white grn dot spinny Ito Irish fly on 230 diver. Tried 175 and 250 coppers with only one steelie so switched out for divers with 42nd spinny fly combo. For into a screamer on the meat right away.

Ended the afternoon 8-16 (had a lot of drops) while having a blast with the family

I couldn't keep the cohos and steelies off my short coppers and riggers last time out. Divers didn't get touched. Usually the divers get more action, especially with kings. Fishing lake o is funny that way, each time out is new and different. Got three kings and some steelies on white/grn dot spinny on dipsey the time before, nothing on riggers and copper

Try 200-300 FOW. Fish the top 30' with 150- 200 coppers (purple and silver if sunny) a surface line (reef runner, rapala, renosky, etc), and free sliders on 35' and 85' riggers with chartreuse and orange spoons. We found a nice school of coho and some steelies mixed in last time out and had a blast. Kings are tough this time of year as everyone has suggested, but I like the cohos and steelies on the grill and smoker better anyways.

I was hoping somebody would have some used ratcheting holders but I will probably have to buy new. I can only do one side at a time so I can sell two titeloks for $50 plus shipping ($42.95 each @ fish USA plus shipping) they are only one yr old.

Anybody have some diver rod holders they are wanting to get rid of? Looking for the ratcheting style to replace my current titeloks. My grandad is getting up there and my son is starting to beat everyone to the rods but can't get the diver rods out. The prices for new are scary. I'm looking for 4-6 in total. Im in olcott but can pay for shipping.

June is coho and steelhead time. They are great when using musky bobs smoker brine Short coppers on boards, surface lines, free sliders orange and chartreuse nk28. Drop two rods deep for kings and find the temp breaks for steelies and coho fun. I'm always searching for the kings but would rather catch some fish rather than none.

Nice fish, that's what it's all about. I was actually posting the surface temp of 55 in 250 FOW out of olcott but glad it helped u hook that king. We had ice water on the south side after the ne blow. Found the warmer water holding active fish that saved our day. Report is in south shore under olcott 6/9.

Purple and silver was by far MVP. Sliders later in orange chartreuse hooked some coho.

Started in 90 FOW around 645. Our spread was 2 riggers 35 and 85, 2 wire divers 100 and 125, and a 150 and 200 copper. My youngest, Charlie battled a nice steely at 700

We would go on to mark a lot of bait and some decent marks inside without any takers so we pointed her north. Lost a screamer on the 200 copper in 150 FOW then nothing for almost 5 hrs. Hit a coho on the 35' rigger, lost one on the 150 copper, and got one on the slider of 85' rigger. Circled around and doubled again, lost 2 more on the coppers and headed for port with 4 in the box and a few released to fight another day. Got in front of port and started pulling lines, left the coppers for last, and my grandad got a bonus 11 lb atlantic.

55 in 250 FOW of olcott. Strong coho bite right now. 7 for 10

Were u fishing the top 30' of the water? I'm headed out of olcott about 6:30 in the am. Gonna run out deep hoping to find some warmer water before setting up. Gonna try some short coppers, my wires, and long leads on the riggers up higher if I can find some temp. If not, st least I'll be spending some quality time with my boys and grandad. Good luck

I run just like gambler with a four wire diver spread and two riggers. One side flasher fly high and spoon low, one side spoon high and flasher fly low. Let the fish tell u what's working. White with green dot spinny, Irish 6" Ito fly back 200 has done great the last two yrs for me.
