there is a couple of print errors in the book, but it is hardly useless. many people use the book on a regular basis. no trolling book is going to be perfect. the errors are easily interpreted. the amount of info in the book would take you and i years to gain, you got it for under $100. copperjohn, PM sent

not likely, the damage will occur when water is mixed in with the lower unit oil. that is why it gets changed every fall. i fish seneca in the winter as i am laid off. i never wintrize my motor, i use it maybe 6 t0 10 times per winter. the small amount ofwater that is in the motor will drain freeze and thaw and drain.i have never had any problems with anything breaking. you could cover the prop with a bag to stop water from entering thru the exhaust hub, thats probably where the water you saw came from. tight lines. by the way, i should add that my mercury is a two stroke but i am pretty sure the water will not destroy your motor. the motor will most likely have freeze plugs anyway.

welcome to the site. most of the masts are 72" that is what i have on the front casting platform. i got the pedestal seat mount that mounts my planer mast in the front seat mount.tight lines and good luck

while trolling on seneca the other day my depth on the screen kept reading between .8ft and 4.5ft deep. i was in 190 to 230ft of water. every 5 min or so it would read the correct depth for a min or so. does anyone know what is wrong with the unit or have an idea what to do? please help.thanks and tight lines.

yeah, got mine today to. same as brokoff's but i also had a coozie. great deal.

did fairly well today. alot of 15'' to 18'' salmon, 1 24'' salmon was invited to dinner. lake trout were on fire. hits came on f.f., riggers w/spoons and even got 2 on a 5 color and planer board. tight lines. this is my 14 yr old sons first trip to seneca. best auto pilot out there.
