I wonder if magic eraser's would work? I also have some real silver finished spoons that are tarnished. Going to try now will get back with the results. Wifey just informed me that we are out of erasers. I will get back to you after I try it.

Does anyone know if a black box would screw up the signal of a Moor sub troll? or would you even need a black box with the coated cable?

Nobody mentioned snubbers. Why not use a snubber between probe and dr weight instead of break away cable?

Were going next week would like to know ourselves. This will be our 3rd year renting a camp on Sandy. Last year was real shallow the 2nd week of May but we could get out the shoot in our 16 and 17ft Lund boats. Hopefully it won't be any lower. We were scrapeing sand and had to raise the motors way up.

I can relate to this trajedy. On March 7 this year a friend and I were fishing Lake George in a 12 foot john boat and capsized a couple hundred yds out. The water temp was 33 degrees. We were in the water at least 30 min before someone heard us yelling. Thank god we had life jackets on. I know with out them we would'nt be hear today. My prayers go out to the family.
