Been fished on Lake Ontario for many years, true fish catching machine! For the year she is, she is in great shape, winterized every year, and stored in a barn every off-season!

  2. THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THAT VID BRO ! I fish west fingerlake's. I feel the desire to fish just as you do. Gonna be a long winter !..lol. So I'm buying my first trolling rod ever pretty soon here. Walleye and trout using planers and divers. Medium power but I'm hung up the tip action. What do you think ? Moderate or moderate fast tip ? Thanks for he vid !

Love the video. Nothing like a good salmon video to get the blood flowing for next year.

    Thank you very much.

I will be posting pictures in the next comment due to not having the pictures on my laptop, they're on my tablet. This boat is a fish catching machine!

PM me for anymore questions, and further details.

  4. Im just speculating but the last 2 years my Dad and I have been running offshore out of Sandy, right off the nose and have found good numbers of Salmon and Steelhead size is another story a few good size here and there, now I cant speak for this year because we haven't been out, been busy rigging out a new boat, but does/has anyone ran offshore to see whats going on out there? Obviously have to pick and choose your days when running far offsore

  5. I don't think so. I have also looked at some Tiara boats. Any thoughts on the Sundance?

According to what my Dad and I have been reading from one of the top marine surveyors who is now retired and has written 3 books on purchasing used boat, the year class of Sea Rays you're looking at he bashes a lot, now a days most boat manufacturers dont make fiberglass boats they make them out of composite materials which is not good, from his articles that he has written the 27ft and 31ft Tiara Opens are the BEST BUY, which stands to good reason! They're easy to maintain, easy to service, and are just flat out tanks of boats! The other best buy is the 10 meter Trojan International which is the most sought after boat for Great Lakes fishing! One other thing to watch out for never buy an electronically fuel injected engine, because if you lose power you lose power to pumping gas through the engine, all referenced to this Marine Surveyor! I can post a link to his website, my dad has it up on his Ipad, he really has opened up our eyes into the boat manufacturing world, and purchasing used boats!

  6. What makes that an Atlantic? The tail? I wondered my self whether or not it was. It was released either way

Take a look at the spots, spots will be in a X like shape, the caudal pedeuncal region will be long and slim, compared to the brown which is short and stout, head will more times than not look more slimmer than a browns, and just like comparing a smallmouth to a largemouth look at the Maxilla (upper jaw) if it extends well behind the eye its a brown, if it extends just behind the pupil its an Atlantic!

  7. Well there is not a whole lot I can say other than the f***ing East wind killed the fishing. I had such high hopes from how mild this winter was and that the fishing in Niagara county was going to be on fire, turned out to be completely opposite of what we wanted, we struggled to say the least. We fished every piece of water from 10-250fow from the bar to Olcott and back over 7 days of fishing. We just could not get a set pattern, depth and lure wise. Our baits that took multiple fish were new FLT spoons made this year, KOS Radiation, KOS Green back, FLT AK47, DW Mag 42 second, Michigan Stinger UV, NK28s mainly black, Warrior UV perch and UV alewife, pretty much the whole spoon bucket went out. We went through every foot of the water column with the riggers and divers. The highlights were over 7 days we landed all 6 species, and 2 Atlantics one being a dandy! Oh well better luck next time. Boat is going up for sale soon due to us buying a new boat in the spring so I will be posting in the classifieds soon, if anyone is interested PM me and ill give you info on it!

    Thanks

Good luck, Tight Lines, Screaming Reels

  8. And that is exactly why fishing with eggs is soon going to be illegal

I don't think the eggs were taken out unless they tied a rope around her and forced them out, it looked like she legitimately dropped her eggs on her own.
