  1. I run the Power Pro because releases slide down it easier than the other stuff. I don't know if they will pull harder than the super skis but they will not flip over and cause a bad situation. I have run my otter boards in 6 -8'ers and not had any problems.

This will be my first year running big boards and I have read a few times now of people having them flip over on them.... What causes this? What is the action that should be taken?

  2. Three years ago I bought a 165 fishhawk crestliner. Great little boat but I found 99 percent of the fishing I was doing was on lake Ontario. I just traded it in the fall on a 22 foot seapro. Found that it was to small and limiting for big lake fishing.

  3. I was just reading on the website that they don't recomend useing a flasher or spin doctor with the shark weights. They say that they will compete fo the fishes attention to much. Does anyone use them to run attractors or do you have a different cannonball setup for flashers and spin doctors?

  4. This is a piture of the layout I used for my old 16' crestliner when I redid the floor. Worked well for mounting riggers and I am staning on a little bow platform that I mounted rod holders to and ran inline boards off. I coated the floor with a durabake roll on liner had great grip and durability. But was hard to clean and was rough on your skin. Have fun and good luck

I am located in Ontario, Canada and I am willing to drive to the falls but don't have a passport

  6. Is there a way to check the title of the boat or registation number to see if the boat was a salvage or if it has been damaged like you can for a car? Any help would be greatly appreciated

  7. From previous experience salt water boats are best left alone. But I am wondering if that is just issolated to a bad boat purchase from florida. I am wondering if there are specific things that need to be checked before a salt water boat would be purchased. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
