    Senate Budget Proposal Includes

    Full Inclusion Crossbow Language

     

    We have received over 1800 letters to legislators asking they support bills A479 and S1386 and it is paying off.

     

    I received information overnight that the Senate has included crossbow language that is the same as Senate Bill 1386 as "Part GG" of their budget proposal.

     

    Now is the time to contact your Assemblymember and ask them to support including this language into the Assembly budget proposal. There is only 2 short weeks to have this included and voted on before the April 1st budget deadline. Now is the time to make the call.

     

    Find your legislators and their contact information by putting your address into the link at the NYS Board of Elections Web Page at the Following Link!

    with regards to the triger pull on crossbows some brands have a much better and lighter triger pull then outhers need to do your research before you buy i personally no that i own a barnett and a ten point and the ten point had a much better triger one of those things you get what you pay for

    i can say that age and how many pounds the bow is on don't have a dam thing to do with it if you are a person with a disability or handicap that dont let you draw a bow dont matter the age of the person if your against idiots useing a crossbow and abuse it im with you but dont be agenst the wepon theres been manny deer lost to gun hunters as well as bow hunters also this thread never said all 41 calls were all from crossbows just because it opened dont mean there all from crossbows we as sports man need to stick together and support one anouther regardless of wepon of choice and for any one who says you just point and shoot a crossbow obviously has never hunted with one you have to shoot just like a compound you still have to pick your shot and no the range and any one who has shot a compound and put in the time to pratice can hit just as well with a compound as a crossbow

    x 2 if it were a gun would you be a anti gun hunter alot of guys young and old can not shoot a compound why would any one want to take away there right to bow hunt a crossbow is the same thing as a compound with out haveing to draw still need pratice and no the distance it is not as simple as a gun like every anti crossbow thinks
