  1. Good morning. The lake once again is glass. Very muggy with a little rain. No wind to speak of. Have great day and good fishing.
  2. Today the lake is calm with a slight west wind. Looks like a great day to be out. Good fishing
  3. This morning we have small rollers from the NE, with a clear sky. That could change. Yesterday it was calm but when I got home at 3:30 the waves were 2 ft. from the NE. Be careful out there and as always, Good fishing.
  4. It is eerily calm. No wind, no waves. Foggy. Should be a good day on the water. Wish I could be out there. Good fishing.
  5. We have a calm lake this morning with a slight SW wind. Should remain calm for the day based on the forecast. Good fishing.
  6. This morning we have a west wind 10 - 15 mph. The Lake is calm near shore. With the Thunderstorms predicted it could get dicey. Be careful out there, and pray for colder waters.
  7. Today is looking like a duplicate of yesterday. Right now we have a light ripple with the wind out of the west about 5 mph. All we need now is some cooler water temps. Enjoy the day and good fishing.
  8. Ok, on the water. 220 fow small rollers. Wind out of sourh light. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Glad to help. Saves some people time any money to actually know what is going on before leaving hime. Good fishing.
  10. Lake is glass near shore with some ripples out farther. Wind is out of the west about 5 mph. Should be a good morning. Waves will probably pick up around 9:00 but probably wont get much more than 2-4. Good luck, see you on the water. Again for referance, I am jusy east of Braddock bay.
  11. No, this is at Braddock Bay west of the Genesee. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Unfortunately we do not have any forecasts that are accurate when it comes to the Big Lake. I have found that what they forecast is usually incorrect. As I live right on Esgemere Dr. I have a firsthand look at what is happening. I will update as often as I can. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Update. Waves are now 4 feet and capping near shore. Going to be a rough one today. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. Currently we have a N wind around 15 mph, the waves are 2 feet. Good fishing.
  15. Sorry for the late post this morning. The Lake is calm with a little ripple, which in my expierience means that it is going to kick up sometime around 9 or 10. The forecast is for 2' or less so you can expect 4' or less. Winds are currently out of the SW around 10 mph. Good Luck.
  16. It's a shame that there are people out there calling themselves Professionals when actually they are nothing but Amatures. A true professional would not have acted that way. Call the Coast Guard and give them his boat info and let them have a conversation with him.
  17. If I didn't have to do this annoying job thing I would. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. I have heard that anywhere fro 250-400 out od I-Bay has been real good. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. Start out north to 250 fow. Head either NW or NE. Work from 250 out until tou find the fish. I generally fish from Braddock Bay. Most of the boats come from the river toward Braddocks. I have also heard that there is a good concentration of majors between braddocks east the lighthouse. Good luck. Probably see you out there. 20. I live on the Lake by Braddock Bay. I posted this morning and will try to post every morning my observations. I hope this will help.
  21. This morning at 5:30 the lake is glass off Braddocks. Winds from the SW about 5-10. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. Started out at 5:30 am. headed east to 120 FOW. Marking a few fish, set up with two dipsy,s. Sea Sick Waddler down 40, Mountain Dew SD with glow fly down 60. Hit 155 FOW Waddler fires, nice fish took 200 feet of line, leader broke. Re set down to 60. Fly rips, small laker. Continued out to 180 FOW, nothing. A lot of boats out there, had to constantly manouver to keep out of their way. Headed west to get out of the traffic. Back to 155 FOW. Changed to Atomik green and blue fly. Down to 60, as soon as the fly hit the 60 mark the rod fires. Steelhead. Fish shut down. started to search. Nothing out deep, went in shallower. Found fish moved in to 140. A lot of marks but no takers. Changed spoon to Wonder Bread. Nothing for an hour. Marked a lot of fish, but no takers. Changed back to Sea Sick Waddler. Trolled in toward Braddocks, Waddler down 40, moved down to 60 and wham, 10 lb Laker, called it a day.
  23. Sounds like it is time for a leadership change. If so many people disagree with this rule, then it should be re evaluated. I agree that the younger people are the next generation of fishermen and women. If you give them a bad taste now, where is that going to lead in the future. I also disagree with eliminating Lake Trout from the Derby. It seems like everything was fine until a 34 Lb. Laker was caught and had the possibility of winning the LOC. A Salmonoid is a Salmonoid. And I do not want to hear that too many 20+ Lb. Lakers are being killed. Lake Ontario has the biggest Laker Avg. in any of the Great Lakes.
