  1. Sorry sir didnt realize we were ruining your hunt, we scouted the lake the past few days and no one eles was hunting it so we were planning on hunting where you guys were but you beat us there. We figured you still had the whole bay, if we would of known you were that upset we would of moved. You guys drove right by us to pick up your duck and you didnt even say anything so we figured we were ok. Never hunted the lake before and we wanted to shoot a scoter. We tried setting up on the other side but it was to rough. Do i now realize we were prolly to close, yes. And i apologize, but next time why dont you guys come say something to us then instead of just bashing us days later on a open forum where we and everyone eles can read it.

  3. I use this recipe mostly for Geese but great for ducks too 4lbs goose meat ...i usualy use 6 goose brests (3geese) Cut into 1/4in think stripes 3tbs coarse salt 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup water 3/4 cup soy sauce 1/2 cup worchestershire sause 2tbs Garlic powder 2tbs Chili Powder (add more if you like it hotter) 3tbs Black pepper 2tbs pepper sause (like a tabascco) 2tbs Red pepper flakes ( i dont use those unless you like it hotter) I usualy taste the brine before putting in meat to get a hint of how spicy it is. Let sit for atleast 24hrs i usualy do atleast 48, I use a electric smoker that only has 1 heat setting so i dont know what to use for heat but usualy takes around 10 hours. I dont like drying it out too much and just keep it in the fridge... I use cherry smoke too hope you like it. .
  4. Thanks for sharing that i dont think i wanna buy one now. . [ Post made via Android ]
  5. Thanks for all the advice on my other post. i know the more money you spend the better things you get and probably helps you catch more fish. The thing is im trying to set up my boat with atleast the basics within my budget so all the expensive extra bells and whistles may have to wait. I found this Lowrance Elite 4 Gold. It has alot of the goodies on it as the more expensive ones just only has a 3.5 in screen. I found one for $300 new shiped to my house. I know its not the best but my question is will it get the job done of finding fish and being able to mark your route. so if you guys with experiance with fish finder which i have none of can look this over and let me know what you think. Thanks Joe http://www.lowrance.com/Products/Marine ... te-4-Gold/
  6. I am looking into getting a fish finder for my boat, i want one with GPS. My question is what one is the best for the money? Is a color screen that much better then black and white? Any input would be nice
  7. hello was wondering if you still had these forsale, if so i would be interested in 1, i have one now and would like to match one for the other side. im new to the site so im not sure how all this works, send me a message if still avalible
  8. I could guess who this was before even seeing the name of your boat!!! Ill be getting a patternmaster this year to keep up with you big dogs out on the lake. Last year i just used my modified choke that came with my gun (mossberg 935) with 3 1/2 Federals #1s and i agree Sea ducks are tough as hell. For geese i like to use BBB 3 1/2s, and for puddle ducks i use 3" 2s thru 4s
