  1. Just a heads up if you are planning on ordering from the website put your order in early. I placed my order on April 8 on the 12th I received an email from Bob telling me they were behind and my order would be shipped no later then 18th have not received my order as of this posting. I replied to the original email that I would be headed up to fish the 1k a day and Salmon slam on the 28th and if needed I would stop on my way up to pick them up.

Hopefully everything will work and they will be here before leave tomorrow.

So if you need stuff from them make sure you get the order in early.

  2. Ahab kept 2 both over 20. Lol. I did miss read the regs to be honest. I do appreciate the heads up. I pulled up the regs on my phone and it say's all finger lakes except Cayuga etc 15 inchers. When you posted I went back and checked again. Luckily I came off the lake legal with the two I had kept.

  3. Put in a Treman at 6:30. Lost a nice brown at the boat before we even got all the lines out. Caught around 20 land locks before we pulled out a 1:00. Rainbow trout jointed and unjointed did a lot of damage, and a black and silver jointed rebel. We got about 12 on flat lines 200 and 250 back. Rest came off inlines 120 and 150 back.

Many of the fish were puking up minnows. My son pulled two out of 22 incher we got.

Over all a great day fishing with my son.

    Nothing we didn't already know.

"The adult population of alewives has been stable for about five years, he said, but there's been a poor survival rate of the younger fish in 2013 and 2014. That should result in a lower adult population in 2016."

    Ouch.
