  1. I saw as much as 22' off using my x4D relative to the Mag 10 counter this weekend reaching 100' actual depth. i.e. 122' of cable out to reach 100' depth actual. This is using 15lb Shark weights which have yielded the least blowback out of any weight I've used. Including torpedo style. Chinook is correct that what you see on your FF is the distance between your ducer and your ball... not actual.

  2. For sale is a complete boat set-up of the toughest most rugged synthetic rod holders on the market. Advantage Folbe Rod Holders. I've caught dozens of King Salmon while trolling Magnum sized Dipsey/FF combos on 10' rods using these rod holders, both while trolling the big lake and flat-lining Luhr Jenson Kwikfish in the Rivers throughout September. These rod holders were designed with big fish in mind... 100% made in the USA, family owned, and based out of Seattle, Washington. All are mounted with Stainless Hardware and in excellent working condition. I've marked all of them (L or R) depending on the side of the boat they go on for convenience (yes, that matters on these... the quick-release design only works in the proper direction).

Here's a couple youtube videos showing you how they work and how tough and durable they are as their fiber-reinforced frames easily handle trout, salmon, and even big striper!

[MSRP $183.80] - Qty 4 Advantage Folbe Jr Rod Holders with standard post mounts and respective side-mount cam lock bases.

[MSRP $27.98] - Qty 2 Advantage Vertical Extension Posts (mounted on a set of Folbe Jr's as shown in the first picture below).

[MSRP $67.96] - Qty 4 Advantage Adjustable Extension Posts (mounted on a set of Folbe Original's and Jr's as shown in the first picture below).

[MSRP $250] - Qty 5 Tracker Marine Versatrack Universal Mounts (mounted to Qty 4 Folbe side-mount cam lock bases and Qty 1 Scotty side-mount base).

[MSRP $34.99] - Qty 1 Scotty Anchor Lock with side-mount (mounted to a Tracker Versatrack universal mount).

That's $668.63 MSRP worth of gear on it's second season - I bought it all new in Spring of 2014. Will sell as a full package deal for $325, $300, $275, $250 cash/paypal and I'll cover shipping to your door. Can also meet in Binghamton area (Home) or Watertown area (Camp) or anywhere in between within reason.

Please PM me if interested. Would be perfect for someone with a Tracker Boat and the VersaTrack system.

    Thanks... -Devin

Haha just playing... my Dad and I took a trip down to southern Delaware where my buddy Dave (Dtmasportsman) hosted an awesome offshore trip 70+ miles out in the Baltimore Canyon. We hooked into a pissed off White Marlin that entertained us with some acrobatic aerial performances but never made it to the boat. They go absolutely nuts when hooked - what a blast out there we had a great time and look forward to heading back next year.

  5. Havent been up since 2 weeks ago... work got in the way again and spent some time back in India. Good to be back home. Hit the water at 11am, much later than usual, and had a decent day for a quick trip. Got my father in law who is up visiting from Florida into some King action. Ended with 4 Kings and kept one... the biggest fish of his life!

Headed back out in the AM.

  6. Some pics from this weekend - didn't take many of them on the water. Picked up 7 small Kings (all quickly released but one who took hooks through the head and eye), handful of browns, a laker, and a steelhead. Oh and a few nasty big sheep. Got a pic of one. I've never caught so many small Kings until this year... Good sign for years to come. Couldn't locate any matures but still a bit early.

Get triple/quad trees. Wether u run Inlines or big boards with a mast they're one of the best things you can equip on your boat. Riggers on the corners. Dipsey holders on the sides. Chute rod holder is handy. The options are endless... Just think it through and plan it out to do it right once and not half a$$ed a few times to get what you really desire.

    Have fun!!!

  8. I wouldn't be surprised if cannon sends you free stainless replacements if you calmly and professionally explain your situation, what you've experienced, provide pictures, and make it clear that you will not trust the plastics anymore. Ask me how I know.
