Haha! No reason to be scared about the pulleys! Just pretty frustrated and needed some good laughs. Seriously though, I knew there are tricks to tuning the boards. This is the best way to get help. Hey Guys! I bought a big john trolling mast over the winter from a member on the this site. I do not have any instruction or diagrams on how to get everything set up. I have the mounting bracket set up with no issues. My problem has been getting the string run through the pulleys correctly which should only be common sence but be nice. I am completely new at this trolling mast stuff! Also, I have tried a set of walker boards and home made planers. They seem to want to run sideways. Now I know the otter boats work the best but I have spoken to a few proffessionals on the water and they believe that dual planer boards give you a more action to the baits. So, if anyone has some input to my problems and pics of their set ups. I would really be thankful for the help. God bless and keep em tight boys!! Sal

Hello! Well I have used two minn kota 220 in the past. They were both ten amps per channel and worked great. I keep my boat in the garage all year round with the charger plugged in. Once the batteries are charged it automatically switches to maintainance mode. The first boat I had it for 3 years and never had a problem with my batteries. The current boat I have had for a year and so far so good. I brought my boat in for an oil change(should have got an Etec lol) and it started on first try! Thank god i was going fishing the next day for browns! I hope that helps you out but in my oppinion the minn kota charger works great! Sal
