I have a 14 aluminum boat (2005 crestliner SC). Anyone have any suggestions for a company to re do the plywood floor, vinyl , and hatch doors? Essentially re do the whole floor. Live in spencerport NY. Any help would be great

I fished dandy out of sandy creek (west). And 130 down was low sixty degrees all the way to 250fow.

On the planers the outside lure is the highest running longest lead lure. Then closest is shortest lead deepest running

Personally with the planers im tight in running three a side 200 150 and 100 per side with j plugs Cleo's or crankbaits. Then riggers with trolling spoons 75-100 back. Maybe a charter guy will chime in .

When you get in tight there are browns mixed in . I'm sure they'll take fish just wouldn't be my go to. I don't fish allot of staging or running fish however I was in the river last year next to a guy shooting the crap. I couldn't get a hit on egg sacks to save myself. He was banging fish left and right with big split body rapalas. Throw some in the spread and see what gets bit. Maybe slow the troll to 1.5-2

If you only have one rigger get or bring in line sinkers to get the lures on the bottom

I'll be out Tuesday night after this storm finishes off. Been catching big mature fish in 45-80 fow on the bottom with spoons and flasher flies. Sun keeps going down ide go right in tight with plugs and spoons down to 20 fow or less. Ideal lure speed 2-2.5 keep an eye on fish finder to find them and keep annoying them to they strike

That's an awesome fish Dan. This season has been a grind to say the least for a mature fish. But looking at the smile he probably forgot about all the hrs searching. I'll be back at this weekend and look forward to touching base with you

Ditto rich...... I've tried a couple times with mixed results. Lakers always hit the line where kings I struggled. But full moon clear skies and the fish are feeding.

Just was saying that today. We were out when it kicked up. Two foot and roly when we started, then it literally unleashed to steady four footers +. Only lasted hr or so then laid back down as fast as it kicked up. I fish a 14 aluminum in the shipping lanes allot and that made me thankful I wasn't in that boat. It can definitely get ugly quick

Like all the fishing this season there was no great pattern. Took fish from 80fow to 250fow. Riggers were best 90-130 down with meat rig

First solid night of fishing in a while. Nice steady grind until 7 pm then all hell broke loose for the last hr and a half. One dark and one chrome........ Season is winding down to soon

Out of sandy if I fish in 100fow on north troll usually get to 450fow at best. Last two trips we go wide open throttle to 550 fow (30 min out) then fish 500-600 fow. All kings were 10-17 lbs and steelhead average was 7-10 lbs. We did have a couple majors take a rip and gone. I'm not a big laker fan late in the season so when the fishing gets slow I keep going deeper.

The steadiest fishing has by far been offshore for us. 30-31 line out of sandy creek. Still not awesome but steady. With the wind this week I'm shooting for 250-350 fow to be good

All the consistent fishing has been offshore here in Rochester. If you can get out there 500+ fow been a decent mix of majors, tend and steelhead. Mostly a spoon bite.

Good reels are a huge advantage to landing fish. I prefer saltist, and when your running down a steelhead that's on fire they are priceless. It's taken me three years to get all my reels to Saltist. Shop the classifieds here and also I have bought used ones on eBay. A good reel will last you forever, a cheap reel will last you two seasons.
