I wanted to make it down today but couldn't because of work. How did it go? Any numbers? Any size?

That's Exactly why I want to make the move. I think I'm going to head over there on Friday and find some permission. Where would you advise me to go? Because it's so deep along the whole shoreline does location really matter?

Those are some great fish. I primarily fish keuka for lakers but would like to get on canadaguia this week. When you say deep water how deep are you actually going? Over 200ft?

Went out of the point from 4pm-830pm. Couldn't find any fish really at all. Marked some bait in the 150-170 range but no fish behind them. Searched all afternoon from 110-250 a just couldn't find the fish. Maybe next time.

Spend 3 summers in Alaska over the past few years. Never went hiking or fishing in the backcountry without my 870. You want open sights tho for sure. Honestly tho I think a can or two of bear spray would do u just fine. I've spent alot of time around black bear and grizz and never felt threatened.

Any finger lake that has a huge population of alewife isn't going to see any walleye reproduction. All the walleye plankton gettin eatin by the alewife before they even get to be a fingerling. Not a single walleye in hemlock or Conesus was born there. Everyone of them are stocked fish.
