Should anyone snag a disneys frozen fishing pole with a raspberry triple d worm harness and an offshore 1.5oz snap weight. It belongs to my 4yo daughter. It went over about a mile north of sturgeon point in 42 feet of water. Whatever was on the other end was peeling line off the reel before it departed the boat. Thanks. Would have been the best Disney pole catch ever however her father ran out of talent.

Found a church's walleye board about 10 days ago with a glow stick taped to the top with clear packing tape and some writing on the back to include a telephone number. Forgot to write it down and due to weather haven't been back to the boat to grab the board if it sounds like it's yours shoot me a message. Found it about 2 miles out from sturgeon point. Will of course call when I get over there and get it but figured I'd give this a go.

Check www.iboats.com forums for aluminum boat transom and floor replacement. There is a great deal of info there along with pictures and a cadre of people willing to provide guidance. Check the restoration section.

I have remote controls for the motor just looking for the ability to dial in the speed precisely which a servo would provide. I would build it to allow use of both and take adequate precautions to make sure everything is safe. Servo checker, servo, voltage reducer, and bracketry is the basics. Thanks for all the tips guys,

Fished 0530 until 1600 today out of sturgeon point. Skunk town USA, did did five silvers and that's all. Tried it all harnessed, sticks, riggers, jets, snaps, ............ Sounds like the main pack of eyes is west of Dunkirk still. Best of luck.

Has anyone made there own troll master/control king? Seems like it should be straight forward with a servo and controller. Thoughts? I have been pondering making one up for my 92 Yamaha 9.9. Would be a cool project. If someone has done it would love to hear what servos and controllers you have tried and what the results are.

I had a 6hp Suzuki with control king on my 18ft sylvan. Worked like a dream and got phenomenal gas usage.

Went out 5-830 last night out of sturgeon 30-35 FOW working shallower as it got later. No walleyes but the smallies were liking the worm harness and stick baits. This double was impressive and kept the kiddos interested. Quick pics and back on the water for these guys.

Bad gas? I had a Yamaha 90 act the same way on some bad ethanol gas. Now I will only run ethanol free. As soon as I drained it and refilled my issues were fixed.

So I just replaced the motor connector with an oem and replaced the filter as well. Didn't do the trick. I replaced my new Atwood primer bulb with a new Yamaha bulb and ran it in a barrel. So far so good we'll see what happens tomorrow.

What year is it? I have been having some issues with fuel starvation in my 92. Rebuilt carb, fuel pump, replaced bulb and line. Replacing the fuel connector at motor with own and filter tomorrow. If that doesn't work I'm on to the fuel pump. Apparently there was a vapor locking issue in the pumps and the new version is cooled by the pee stream. I can see its getting air somewhere at the filter. Not sure if this helps you but I will let you know what happens. Rebuilding the carb made it run significantly better.

If you were in them you were on them today. 50ft-55fow straight out of sturgeon with all the boats.

Your fill hose is probably hardened and will leak. Tightening the clamps is not enough. The new EPA rules on fuel tanks prevent gasoline from entering the atmosphere when the boat is not operating just like your car. Your portable tanks are now tested to 20 PSI to allow for expansion when the air warms up. Your portable tanks may be a pain but they work.
I alway leave my portable tanks vent open. Any idea if there are side effects of 20psi in the bowl of the carb? Needle and seat? Leaks? I guess if the needle and seat are bad that would highlight by leaking gas out the carb!

Send a bore science down the filler neck. Look around a see what you see. If pretty clean out 10 gallons in it and pump some of it it out with the primer bulb into a clear container. If it looks good, no leaks etc. rock on. Would be worth while to add a online filter separator as well. Best of luck.
