  1. $25 - no shipping

I could meet around Clifton Springs, Canandaigua, Geneva, or near Sodus Point.  Could meet off the thruway too (exits 44 to 42).

Plano Molding 791502.  It accommodates baits up to 12 inch in length.  Brass-bailed latches keep the lid tightly closed.  It only comes with the six dividers shown.

  2. $20 - no shipping

I could meet around Clifton Springs, Canandaigua, Geneva, or near Sodus Point.  Could meet off the thruway too (exits 44 to 42).

Plano Hanging Bait Box 2301  Six double-sided racks will hold all your baits. Over 66 baits fit in the box.  Perfect size for Michigan Stingers (regulars not Stingray).  A snap lock arm bar across the top of each rack ensures your baits stay right where you put them.  Not only do the baits stay organized but they get plenty of air circulation to dry quickly and last longer.  This is the clear model so you can see the spoons without opening the box.

    Size: 14-3/4 L x 7-7/8 W x 6-7/8 H

The Model 2301 Hanging Bait Box also is used to hold spinnerbaits and buzzbaits.

  3. My daughter and I went out of Sodus and put lines in at 300' (52* down 95'), 6 a.m..  We went 4 for 4 on small kings (2, 5, 5, and 6 pounders).  We stayed out until we hit 525 feet (3 hours).  It was too bumpy to troll back in, and we only planned on staying out a max of 4.5 hours anyway.  I am glad my 15 year-old daughter didn't mind getting up at 3:50 a.m. to spend some time on the water.

    Go to 40lb. 30lb wasn’t enough yesterday.

I had 40lb. Big Game mono on the riggers yesterday out of Sodus and still collected fleas, but they came of easily (I could not "flick" them off though, I had to pull them off with a sliding motion).  If I had fleas on the rigger lines in the past, I could just "flick" them off.

  5. Pappy, I took my daughter out in the a.m. on the 7th out of Sodus too.  No big fish  like yours but we had fun.  We did some dancing with the rods when we pulled her 16.5 pounder in (she did not want to hold the big one for the picture [she is waiting for her 20 pounder]).  We had our lines around 10 feet deeper than you (Pappy).  We ended up going 5 for 5. The fleas are the worst I have seen.

When we were headed in, slowly picking our lines up we got this one (just over 18.5).  My daughter passed on this one when she heard the drag go.  We were inside 120 feet and I could not tell you how far down the rigger was because I brought is up some odd amount and then was distracted breaking down rods for a few minutes.  My daughter is still learning how to handle the net (aren't we all, at times).  She had the fish in the net, and then it jumped out before she pulled and lifted (we got lucky she got another chance to net, because the cheater was caught in the netting after the first attempt).  The eel on this one didn't survive.

  6. I ended up purchasing a FLO-FAST Professional Model Pump from Cabela's.  A bit pricey but I purchased it as a gift for my brother to use (for his side-by-sides, lawnmower, and his jet ski).

I went with the cheaper option of the Safety Siphon - The Original Safe Multi-Purpose Self Priming Pump by The Original Safety Siphon...$16.99 Faster than a gravity fed tank (over 3 gallons per minute) and easy as heck to use.
