I run 8ft 6in Pro GLTs on my riggers and planer boards. And 9fters on the Dipsys. My usual setup is 2 inline planers, two dipsys, two down riggers, and two stackers off the riggers.

I run 12# balls on my Cannon Unitroll STX 10 manual riggers. Work great on Ontario and Erie. My buddy has a mould to make them. We smelt down automobile wheel weights and make our own. Coat them in bed liner.

For fishing dipsys and inline planer boards I would go with the Okuma Classic Pro GLT rods. They are a deal at $30 a piece. Plenty of spine to handle hits by kings and big lakers, but also sensitive enough for light hitting walleye. I run 8 of them on my boat with no problems at all. Very comfortable handle as well.

we have no problem using regular Berkley Trilene 100% Flouro line for our leaders. Our down rigger and planar rods are spooled with it, 14# and 12# respectively. When our dipsy rods need new leader, we just strip 8ft off of the down rigger rods. Works great. I don't understand the need for high dollar leaders.

FWIW, it looks very similar to the Olive Chartreuse Glow thunderstick….which I happen to hammer walleye on when trolling lake erie. The one you show has some red on the back. Thats the only difference.
