I was also in the class. Because I was driving so far I did both the morning and afternoon sessions. I must say capt Rick is extremely professional and informative and this was a great learning experience for me. He also put us on fish. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

It lasts. Pretty much change after every fish depending if it's torn up.

I use the familiar bite and it works well.

Ran mine for a year and a half. No problems..and I'm not the best at taking care of my stuff.

just run a line down the shoot..lead core or copper.

Looking for a 500 copper.

Speed current and lure selection can take the depth off anyway. Alot of variables. It's all ballpark. If your off 10% it's really irrelevant. choose some lengths at ballpark depths and see what happens. Or get a fishawk TD and run it.

Agreed capt Vince. That could certainly increase the wild ones. Hopefully they can adapt quick enough to the changing lake.

I asked about adding phosphorus at the symposium and the experts said it becomes a public/political issue with drinking water and potential algae blooms. But I can't see that happening on lake o at the current levels and cooler water Temps.

The leprechaun, 4 leaf clover, lucky charm, gills deep, how that? Lol

Nice combos! Great producers and great price. I'm all bought out though.

I use a 100 w Coleman cheap and effective. I use it on the deep cycles as a trickle charge. worked all season no issues always full.

Is the bracket thru bolted to the transom?

Wow. Is that a 2x6 that the motor is bolted to?

No rush on the pics. but whenever you get the boat out for splash down if you wouldn't mind it would be very helpful.

has anyone mounted a kicker motor on a walkaround with twin OB's? What type of bracket was used? I know it depends on boat make or model. let's say a pursuit 2780 hydrasport 2600 robalo 265 as examples. Thanks

The pinch also works. I have lost fish on it though if it doesn't release depending on its angle to the wire

I don't run snubbers I personally think you loose more fish with them. I just keep a loose drag and a keen eye.

Cabo has an incredible striped Marlin fishery. I've had double digit days in the fall. Highly recommend it.
