It's the bad blows we have had, tons of fish and bite will get better by the day as long as wind doesn't stir stuff up. We did ok this morning at 130', now just fired in 140. Big white took 3 fires, speed was slow, 1.7 one way 2.0 the other.

OK sooo.... is my fish hawk messed up or did i pretty much just see 68 degrees and some change top to bottom in the trench from 60-130ft from association island to the lighthouse... slight variations in temp but couldn't find more than 2 degrees in change?

Yup, that's the deal, same today, fish pinned on bottom with lockjaw, had a few hits on a lone carbon 14 and got one small king

Great job Devin, nice fish, I had an awesome short trip Saturday anyway, was so stoked to get the big boat out...wish I could of made it out Sunday also, looking like a great year. I'm planning on fishing Sunday if weather permits, not looking good at this point but hopefully the forecast changes.

Nice report, flies were horrible that's for sure. We fished today basically same thing and a pattern so close to your post I almost didn't report, only difference for us was mostly all spoon bites. Same thing on many knockoffs but ours were mostly on a 91' rigger, some on fixed stacker 20' above. Our mag dipsy hits were all spoons 165' #2. Couldn't keep lakers off moonshine bad toad so took it off, Green jeans and Mich stinger blue dolfin uv got the most hits. Our biggest king was on a 400 copper with a stinger mag size spoon. A great morning til the wind came up.

Where are you located?

SW winds should blow all the warm water our way right? Which will be good for Salmon fishing? Maybe it will push them in our area again?
Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Should be good, guessing the pocket off mountain to finger will have bait and kings, shipping lanes also

Thanks for the report Shawn, was wondering if the water level dropped at the Henderson launch.
Check the forecast, Sunday is not the day to hit the shipping lanes, big SW blow and small craft warning.

2010 was a stellar year for browns all over the lake. I caught some in huge numbers almost every weekend when we had those 70* days in late march.
was looking thru some photos from that year, here's a Hog brown, to this day one of my best. Would much rather catch eyes but do enjoy Brown fishing, lol

That's funny that you mention the Browns. We were just talking about that the other day as well. And when we were catching Brown's while targeting walleyes the numbers were a lot.

It was wicked, I remember getting browns on almost every walleye trip one year, I think it was 2010 but not sure. If you actually targeted them it was limited out in a few passes.

Good to see some nice gators men! We don't see the catching like years past anymore on the pike. Ice or boat, we used to catch double digits pike by the dozens on a regular basis on our end of the lake.

Yes sir, I remember catching more Pike years ago then the last few years. I can also remember not to long ago when there was so many browns we were slamming them while targeting walleye.

Your most welcome fella's, I thought it looked pretty stout!! So the pics was cancelled?? Where did you launch from, from your boots it looks like it's less than knee deep somewhere??
Chaumont, 3 mile, and dexter, we had waders with us, lol

Very nice guys, now that's a nice box of eyes!! Gotta love that bouble on the same rig:lol: congrats to your day!! How long was the Pike?? Looks rather long!!
Thanks Pap,
We had a great day Thursday, struggled on walleye the other 2 days but managed a few. The pike was 40", he took a bomber 25 deep diver and completely sunk the board like a bobber, I thought we hooked a stray king salmon, lol
