    Looking for an Elite 5 or 7 GPS..... Can be a combo but only interested in the GPS as I have a stand alone sonar.... Would consider Garmin/Ray Marine etc..... Just trying to finish rigging another boat without breaking the bank....Ya right !! Thanks guys.. Dan

    Coho flies / teasers / twinkies have thread forward [ showing ] Salmon flies should have the skirt forward to give it the full color scheme and the larger profile.. At least that's my opinion....

    thanks for the info guys,i like the pics and video of the wire knot for terminal tackle. I think I am gonna try the Albright knot,i used that knot before with leadcore and always worked fine. but like some of you I am a little leary about the wire mono connection, as long as I re-tie after a few fish it should all work out.. if these rods had roller tips I would go with a swivel for sure...I like the shrinkwrap idea...

    Looking to set up a couple more slide diver rods.. I have always run slide divers on 20lb mono and have had good luck with them but I wanna run a couple with wire.. I plan on having about 30-40 feet of mono/floro leader attached to the wire and was wondering the best way to attach the two? I plan on clamping the slide diver down on the mono/floro leader so a swivel could be used but I was wondering if there are any knots that anyone uses to join them? Just looking to get more depth with long leads to lure.. Thanks....Dan
