  1. Inspections are free, if your boat is found to be contaminated they will clean it free. I do believe the seal goes from the boat to trailer somehow. The seal is good until it is broken - like when you launch your boat. You will also need a Lake George Park Commission Boat Registration Sticker. "All Vessels 18 Feet or Longer, or Any Vessel Mechanically Propelled by a Motor 10 h.p. or Greater, Must Register with the Lake George Park Commission and Display a Registration Decal. Boats may be registered annually or for one day or week." This will cost you by the foot. Private marinas will charge you around $50 to launch.
  2. My name is Jeff. First I want to thank everyone one this site !!! Boat set up,equipment, lures - unbelievable the amount of knowledge here !!! Currently I'm living in Salem N.Y. and have a 17ft. Tracker Targa. I'm planning on a new boat for Ontario in the next 1-2 years. Until then I'm just gonna enjoy reading all the posts...
  3. Hey ... I found it ... http://www.in-fisherman.com/gear-accessories/red-hooks-tackle-revisited/ I also cut my last post a lil short ... was gonna end it by saying - "It all comes down to a confidence thing" ...
  4. I wish I could find that article... I did a lot of research on red hooks vs. plain. At the depth you will fish the color is invisible ... but the metal hook is still there. The fish will see the "red hook" in a shade of grey. Plus they say that the coating on the hook will not make them as sharp as a plain hook. I'll still look for that article ....
