Check out the Rochester Bassmasters website. Great club, with great people, that is active in the community and has an extremely exciting 2018 tournament trail slated, with the likes of lake erie, chaumont bay, oneida lake. Always accepting new members of all ages, levels if experience. http://www.rochesterbassmasters.com Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Anybody have any info on smallmouth in the mud bay fox/grenedier island area? Have been up here on vacation for the week but have put anything consistent together. A fish here and there, fishing everything from 5' to 30'. Would like to put the family on some fish. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  4. Caught this smallie last weekend right outside Lily Bay. Obviously appears to be a tag. Anybody know anything about what type of tag it may be? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Braddocks 6/12

Great thanks. So ramp docks are all above water?

How was the ramp/channel at braddocks?
  7. In search of a lowrance head unit only. Size and gen does not matter too much. Just looking for a head unit to drop on the already rigged bow mount. Let me know what you have, thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Have been wondering the same thing myself. I was out there on Sunday, but only headed back in the creeks, not to the lake. I spoke to guys at the dock, coming off the water in a bigger trolling vessel that said they were on the lake. So there has to be a decent channel out to the lake, just nothing marked (as of Sunday).
  9. Does anybody have any experience with any tracker aluminum hauled boats in the SLR, or on Lake Ontario. Looking into getting something like Pro Team 175 TXW, but want to ensure that it would be safe and sufficient on this big water. Would be almost exclusively bass fishing.
  10. What is Everyone's Preferred Baitcast Reels?

Lews spood spool, or lews carbon fire are great reels. I learned to use a baitcaster with both of these reels, and wouldn't consider any others, anytime soon.

Any reports from the Clayton area? Headed there this weekend.

    Thanks for the update J.D.

Thus far, I have only been to a handful of meetings, and their annual sportsman raffle fund raiser, so I cannot speak too much from experience, but, I do know they hold social events throughout the year, with one being a clam bake. Joining also entails membership into the national B.A.S.S. club, which provides you with the monthly magazine, as well as the ability to marshal in events on the pro trails, and I would imagine much more. From what I have gathered so far, it is a tremendous learning experience and a great way to meet other guys who share the passion, whom of which you can get out on the water for some non-tournament fishing with.Like I said, I don't have a great amount of exposure to what the club has to offer at this point, but I hope this helps. They are always looking for new guys, so I would be happy to, or I am sure your friend can get you in touch with somebody who might be able to provide a little more insight.
  14. Can anybody recommend, or speak about any fly fishing guide services in the Vail, CO area. I am heading out west towards the end of the month and am looking to book a trip. Unfortunately I will be traveling out with with a torn ACL ligament in my knee, so I think a float trip is really my only option. I have read a lot of good things about both Vail Valley Anglers, and Minturn Angler services. So just wondering if anybody has any experience with either these two, or any other guiding services in the Vail area. Thanks!
