  1. These are pics of my new organizing system that I purchases from Amish Outfitters. They are called caddys. 1 bag is my lake trout rigs, 1 bag is all my meat heat leaders and the other is for my flies. I love how I can now just grab the bag I want and everything is in it I need. The other 2 plastic totes is for my flashers.

Sent from my XT1080 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

nice ill have to check that out.

  2. organized are you kidding me i fish many species with different set ups and also do hard water so i guess ill never be organized. if you come up with a way to be organized lmk. your right though bring on spring for some fishing for trout and salmon and other species as well. for me to be organized i would need a tackle organinzer the size 2 large suitcases just for my lures and hooks and sinkers then i would need someone to organize it for me. im glad im not the only one that sint organized. tight lines

  3. i have used luhr jensen krocodiles for 25 years and are my favorite luhr for lakers browns salmon steelies and yes even bass. i use these on lake champlain on a regularly bases and do very well with them. will be bringing my krocs out to lake ontario this year. i have never had any problems with them and use them at slow speeds fast speeds and even twtiching also jigged with them through the ice. i tie my floro leader right to the ring on the kroc. my favorite colors for browns are rainbow lakers silver prism and steelies blue prism mostly  1/2 ounce sizes. they are a great wobbler and can cast them over weeds on a medium pace and the kroc will stay up in shallow water. these krocs are used moslty from shores and not trolling. never remember and spinning on me either just those tight wobbles

  4. thanks for the reply. i am a shimano man myself but cant really afford them anymore. i dont want to spend $200 or more for a reel if possible. i fish many species in which i i have any rods and reels. so it gets  a little expensive. what stradic model do you have and what lb test line does it take. are you happy with the drag system? those are  my concerns since i will be using this rod on ontario or tributaries and the larger rivers near lake champlain. i was just looking at the pfleuger supreme which is a step up from the president. would that be a better choice. im going to research the stradic now and see what price range there in. where and what do you fish for all winter? what rod do you have the stradic on?

  5. i live on lake champlain where it is great fishing for multiple species but i am expanding my waters and i am very interested in lake ontario great fisherie. i had the opportunity last april to get on a charter and fish for browns on ontario and it was a success to say the least. planning trips out there this year also . also looking at some frostbiting fishing out there this winter. i just enjoy these forums and like meeting other fisherman and share experiences with them. i fish year round as i am retired so bring it on pics stories or misc. i am all for it and looking forward to seeing all members on the site and looking at different locations in the lake ontario area.
