Great fish Prof! We've had some good luck out on niagara shoal this year and I've been in front of your place too. However, with the new Yamaha on the Grady you probably can't hear me[emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United -
Eel bay perch

Hello fellow anglers, Just wondering if anyone has some insight into fishing eel bay for perch? I would like to try this fall since our summer was a bust. Do the flats hold more schools than the channel by picton? Are minnows the bait of choice? Thanks for the advisement, Ray Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Good luck!

25-45 ft, look for humps, soft shell crabs, watermelon senkos on drop shot rig.

18-35 ft. From Clayton to Alex bay. Look for humps on your map. PS...get a map..1 oz sinker and a crayfish works well, drifting off drop offs, worm on a 1/2 oz buck tail, drop shot with pink or watermelon wacky worm. Find the blue/green water....rocky bottom...drop shot there. Good luck!

Yup, biggest eye ever! Ran down to gander today to reload on reef runners

31 inches....10.3lbs 45 ft of water with a chrome/orange reef runner. 1 oz in line sinker also. Great night!

Anywhere from Clayton to chippawa bay. I've been finding them mostly on the sides of humps that drop to 30-60 ft. Hugging the bottom with my bb and floating worm harness. 8-10 pm seems to work for me!

Yes, I try to keep it a foot off the bottom. However they don't seem to bite after dark? The gobies

Went out from 6 to 10 pm. Got two. 45-65 ft. Drifting bb with floating worm harness. Good start to summer
