I go to noaa and weather underground to check conditions. The I read where everybody had a great day and conditions are just the opposite of what the forecast said. Should I just go to the lake and see for myself? Tired of reading forecasts and missing out on great fishing

Berkeley big game rod

I found one of my Berkeley big game medium heavy rods today. Could I use it to pull dipseys with or what application would it be good for. Still working on a tight budget. Thanks!
