I know the definition of Mobility, A Trolling plate takes thrust of your motor and pushes it to the sides, taking away control. Bags stabilize your boat, not toss you about with the currents, ds. you keep using it but that plate. I guarantee you will have better boat control with bags set up right over a plate.

Berts as well as Cannon Single axis, can be adjusted so many degrees. But nothing like the Traxtech or Cannon double axis. That are 360. The single axis are little more cumbersome, but should work for 99% of your circumstances. It weather you want to spent the extra $.Berts can be rotated in the track. That's why there are grooves. Just line the set screws up with the outside grooves.

I have mixed tracks, Berts, Cannon, and Traxtech . All nice, have Berts ratcheting, but if I was buying new holders it would be Traxtech or Cannon, then Berts.

Bags are much better for boat control than a Trolling plate. Mobility? It takes me 10 sec. To pull my bags if I want to stop trolling.

I got a couple of used Cold water 30's and I think for the money they are great. If I see anymore I will snatch them up.

Why wouldn't you just use them with your kicker, They weren't just made to slow you down, they stabilize your boat in bigger waves. I can run them all day long without them speed wise, but why would you. Bags cut down the wave surge, especially in smaller boats.Just keep everything far enough front that nothing gets to the rear of the boat and possibly a rope in the prop. Other than that Chase is spot on with the rest. Good luck, hope they get down in speed!! OH one other plus with bags is when it's rough out there the bags act like an anker and keep the boat more stabil in the waves. I now run a kicker but at times I miss the bags. Oh well can't have everything.

No different color accents, and more bearings. Everything else is same

I run Trolling bags all the time, not just to slow down but to stabilize the boat, way less surge from waves and there isn't any loss of boat control, vs. a Trolling plate where you WILL loose lots of control.I used a drift sock once and found that you lose a lot of steering that way. I have a trolling plate (they aren't expensive) and it works well.

Trolling bags, not a drift sock, one on each side about mid ship.

There are just so many ways to use another rod, don't know why anyone would stack more than one rod. Would just use fixed sliders and free up the rod for something else. But under certain situations, I do stack one rod on each rigger if I have extra people in boat.

Moonshine Shiver Minnows are much nicer than Raps. No hook on front of Lure, only middle and back. And if you want some that glow they have the best glow on their products in the business. Also have some new UV, Shiver Minnows that look awesome.
I use their Spoons with excellent success and rarely run anything else.

That's the thing, I use fluro too, for some things. Make rigs, flies, because of above reasons, abrasion resistance and stiffness, not invisibility.Just saw a guy take, fluro, pink fluro, Mono , braid of few colors. Put it down in clear water 5 ft. No way a salmon/laker/ whatever sees Mono, especially Trolling at 2.5, at any depth and you will never convince me different. Hence if you are using it for different purposes OK.
