Fat head, and a stickle back. Both common minnows. No perch or bass

Inspect the first 10 ft. Frequently, it is where most damage happens. Don't use crimps, use KLINCHER or similar and you should be golden.

I love mine, 18' boat, so one less thing on floor.
Used them last year, and really liked them.

With a UV light it is real easy to see any UV Spoons and Glow spoons;, with a regular flashlight you will only see glow.

It will work perfectly. May need chains if no snow. Or as long as you don't have too much snow.

Diawa SeaLine 60, High Speed 6.1/1 , will hold 1000' of 19strand, and 300' of Weighted Steel. High gear is only way to go when you are cranking that much.

I'm out of the loop with steel line, your not talking about 7. or 19 strand right ?Is it larger dia. than 7or 19 wire.
Using 30#, 19 strand for backing, under 200 ft Weighted Steel line. Backing is supposed to continue to sink at same rate as equivalent weighted line.

Use Weighted Steel, so when you get tangled, you aren't holding $30 worth of garbage. With the steel you can untangle and it will still be golden. Don't ask me how I know.

I have a 21 yr old Alumacraft Trophy 180 that has been on Lake MI, and Superior all its life. One time in 8-10's. Many times in 4-5's. So I wouldn't really question the Great Lakes sea-worthyness. Haven't looked at new boats so don't have an option either way, but my old Trophy can take me fishing anytime, without any worry.

What's the world coming to when you need a backup camera on your boat to watch your fish poles
Sent from my LGL52VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
That is almost a funny statement with all the technology, most of us use without even thinking. I mostly want the mirror for fishing alone, but since I got an auto pilot, (lol) it's easier to drive and watch poles.

I pulled the trigger. I bought a Fish hawk x4d

No way I'm putting a $200 probe on braid. Just way too many horror stories about ease to break and good by probe. Just way too many negatives that definitely don't outweigh any positives.
