Monster bear, if you ever pulls one out of the brush like that you will have a new respect for how big they actually are.

I bought mine used and the previous owner filled the handle with spray foam, cause he had lost one overboard. He said it floats, but I should really check.

Two small pieces of pool noodle and zip ties will float any net, so for under $5 you can prevent bottom loss, lol. Probably free to most because parts are all within the household.

I used a 2x6 with tracks mounted to it
Much cheaper than the bar

That is like buying a new truck and putting a 20 years old aluminum cap on it. Serves the purpose, but uglier than a mud fence.

Just get one of each size and color, lol. They are made up by me, best glow in lure making business hands down. Browns, Lakers, Steelhead, and Salmon of all types seem to like them.

The ratio will change with how you have the Dipsey set. On setting 1, it way closer to 2:1, on setting 3 more like 3:1.

Fished Lake Superior MI waters, only picked up one Laker during Eclipse and couple after it. Sure was a beautiful day though. Up here the Eclipse started around 1:15 Est. Fished till 5.

That makes more sense that what I was told. I had Never looked into it, mostly cause I could care less but have caught many Superior Coho in spring and scales are shedding like crazy, and there is no warm water.

Usually happens when fish are or have been hanging around, out of temp, in warmer water. Is what I was told.

They work anytime of year, just many people don't run them till late. Everyone has too many other things that usually work so they take a a back seat, imo.
