I am not up there dont know what feet of water you are in I would work 200 to 300 feet down about 80 feet? I know the currents are bad but a fish hawk is a must for temp and speed at the ball.

I JUST GOT 2 DOWNRIGGERS NEW MAG TS LOWERED THE BALL SETUP GOT A FISH BROUGHT UP THE BALL,LOWERED THE BALL AND THE CABLE SNAPED AT 55 FEET DOWN SO IT WAS DOWN ONCE, UP ONCE, DOWN ONCE, AND LOST 155 DOLLARS OF FISHING STUFF THIS IS BULL THREE TIMES.

I never fished Olcott but you have to find about 50-53 degree water I would have to say you have to get down deeper and find the temp. and bait fish pods.

As of right now 2 nm from shore Sat. I say 4-5 footers and for Sun. I say 2-3 footers not good.

I have 8 weather and waves sights and not one is correct they say 1 foot or less you get 2 to 3 footers. They say 5 to 7 footers its like glass.
