    04/08/2024 UPDATE: The DEC will be a little earlier on 04/09/2024 than first expected. The trucks with the baby Salmon will be at Shumway Marine at 11:00 AM. Help is appreciated. Thanks Bob

    I wouldn't give a **** covered wooden nickel to be in that ****hole port. After Bill Reilich and WestPoint Marina posted that the channel was dredged and safe in 4/2021, I tore my lower unit off on the East side of the channel that same week There are concrete pylons in the channel that have NOT been removed. Within a week, the posting was revised to state that only the West 2/3rd of the channel was cleaned and funded by the state not the entire channel as first stated. Beware. Proceed at your own risk. I'm not the only one.

    Sorry to hear this. Reel Excited pounded them yesterday. My guest went home and went back out in his small boat and captured the Grand Prize Slot in LOC in the same spot we were in earlier. Keep chugging along, changing lures and speeds. Me, 2.8-3.4 MPH. Think outside the box.

    Tomorrow 05/03/2023. Genesee River salmon pen rearing!!! The babies are ready to released into the wild. They have grown like unreal. If anyone wants to help release these kids to the wild, and help with cleaning up the rearing pens, we'll be at Shumway Marine starting at 3-4PM tomorrow afternoon05/03/2023. I have 2 people lined up with power washers for cleaning the pens. We really need people to handle the pens, cutting off the nets and stacking the pens on the trailer to be stored for the year. Shumway Marine has been unbelievable as a host to this project, thank you. If anyone wants to show up to help, I'll se you there tomorrow!!!!!!

    Tomorrow 05/03/2023. Genesee River salmon pen rearing!!! The babies are ready to released into the wild. They have grown like unreal. If anyone wants to help release these kids to the wild, and help with cleaning up the rearing pens, we'll be at Shumway Marine starting at 3-4PM tomorrow afternoon05/03/2023. I have 2 people lined up with power washers for cleaning the pens. We really need people to handle the pens, cutting off the nets and stacking the pens on the trailer to be stored for the year. Shumway Marine has been unbelievable as a host to this project, thank you.     I guess there were several opinions about the situation at the Rochester City Launch. I really didn't see any options about how to help fix the problem. I talked to a couple Charter Captains that weren't happy to hear this. One Captain was going to have conservation with the Harbor Master to see if it can be cleaned up for us trailer guys. Today, it looked must better. 04/30/2023...

    Has anybody been discussed with the current condition of the City of Rochester Boat Launch? Me and my crew were there this morning to launch my boat. Arriving at the launch my partner had to get out of the truck and spend 20 minutes clearing and chucking logs from the ramp so we could back the boat into the water. Also, there was not 1 parking lot light on, the whole lot was black dark. This was at 5:30 this morning. The City of Rochester wants me to pay $10.00 launch fee for this ****!!!! Where is the City of Rochester on this???? Discussed.......
