Hans the carver does guiding on the SLR. It's not a fly in remote destination, but that body of water holds true giants and I've seen the proof he knows where to go and how to get them. Also, with plenty of places to stay and his reasonable rates, it may be a twice in a lifetime trip !

I beat up buffalo today since west was rocking. I went deep, I came in tight, I hit 4 different shoals from top to flats. Ran the walls. Graph was blank just about everywhere. I'm not saying there's no fish out there, but they sure as heck hid from me today ! Switched gears and got into some bronze backs to keep my son interested. That worked, thankfully.

Where do you live ?if anyone wants to show me the ropes for coyote hunting...shoot me a pm -
Don't waste your time out of buffalo. Catt and west. Fish today were hugging bottom in 85' out of the cattLike to go fishing Monday out of the basin looks like the lake might lay down for a bit. Anybody hear of anybody catching eyes in the area? Haven’t fished in a few weeks and not sure where to start.
Thanks -
I hope to be on deck when the 30 hits the nylon !

absolutely. When u look into it, the yotes are one of the most adaptable animals in the country. They know what population the land can sustain and will have litters dependant on that. So yes, the more you shoot, they will just be back next year!I have read multiple articles that say that the more coyotes you shoot the more pups they have. Don’t know how true that actually is but we run them with hounds and shoot anywhere from 50-100 a season. They are always back been hunting the same grounds for the last 12+ years

Just did a quick evening run tonight. Ran out to 360 and setup on a north troll. 50° was down 100. Basically blank screen but grabbed a teenager and a nice steel around 400. King came on spinny and steel on a spoon. Was a quick run and we decided to chase the tight lips inside.....well, they were there, and tight lipped. Ran spoons and spinnys out deep and j plug/spoons/ spinnys inside. Lots of fish on the screen in 100-120.

Don't limit yourself to king's ! Browns, Lakers and steelhead can be a blast to catch and typically more consistent than king's. It's a great lake, enjoy what it has to offer! Welcome!!

Spot on. Bottom bounced 60fow the other day. Caught a pile of perch and eyes on harnesses. They are all over. Sturgeon and west. 60-80. Any program works. Dipsy. Bottom bounce. Leads. Riggers. Less is more when you find the school. You can catch walleye until the water gets hard. Most guys stop fishing when deer season starts or they switch to perch. Right now there are fish all over the place from sturgeon to Barcelona. Right in front of sturgeon has been hot from 60 ish to the line but easy limits are coming from any port.

Nice work !I forgot to post our results from a couple weeks ago. We ended up putting 4 Lakers in the boat in 4 hours that Friday, then 11 Lakers and 2 Walleye in 5 hours that Saturday. What a difference one day can make! We caught fish all over the 100-110 FOW zone, from a foot off the bottom to twenty feet off the mud. Spoons, Flatfish, dodgers/spin’n’glows, and Cowbells/Gamblers all took fish. Largest individual was a 36” 23# specimen I caught on Saturday. And, although I’m not huge on Walleye, one of the two bycatch Eyes was 28” 6#, so I’m not complaining!
Hoping to fish out of Dunkirk again tomorrow if the lake cooperates.

Jeremey Goodison is your man.First time attempt at trolling outside of Bald Eagle tomorrow. Just wondering what depth of water would be good for this time of year? If anyone wants to give a few tips to a newbie, I'd be very grateful. Thank you and good luck!
30-31 line / mid 500's was good last couple weeks even on an east blow. -
