Here’s what I’ve been told about Canada’s liberal seasons. They only take a small fraction of the total harvest, in comparison to the US. And, the birds nest in their country, so they have a right to liberal bag limits. Sounds like just convenient excuses to me. If the AP goose population is in such a critical condition seems like should do their part to limit harvest.
Plenty of local birds nest right here!!

That's crazy considering the season should be open all year round.........

So the dog found a different deer?? If so, it's scent might have tripped him up. I'd do a 100 yd. radius sweep around the seven pointer as soon as you can. If there's any kind of water nearby, I'd hone in on that also. Don't give up yet!!

I had a Brittany that was a great dog. He was by far no dog that would compete, but we never pushed him to be that kind of dog. He did well in the field and I even tried duck hunting him a little, but he didn't care for that at all. Great family dog with a lot of energy. Didnt bark unless he had too, at the time we had a Golden Retriever that he lived extremely well with.
Yeah, had a female back in the late 90's. Excellent upland hunter - water, not so much......

I showed my brother yesterday on a map, a good pinch point to scout on state land. With wind and rain in forecast he decided to leave his climber home and use today as a scouting mission. Luckily he took his bow. After confirming my suspicions about the area with many deer trails and scrapes, my brother sat down on a log to text me excitedly. In mid-text, a ten pointer walks by him, glances twice at him then continues on to check his scrape. My brother arrowed him at 8 yards. He is a 6x4.
They don't come too much bigger in these parts!!

The prices I've seen are all over the place. Most available leases are up north, or bordering the Catskills, which are too far for me to consider.......

my daughter has graves disease, it made her left eye grow 2x bigger than the right, she lost the ability to close just her left eye
it also gives her fits with eye dominance, so we use an eye patch to eliminate any problems
Gotcha. Good to see she's over coming a deficit & gaining confidence with it.

Not sure what's up with the eye patch? BUT....Bad Mojo
