    Myers Point

I’ve been going to Taughannock and have had real good luck on land all late fall and winter....It’s been hit or miss but when they have been biting I always get a bunch of Lakers. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    Laker Fishing off Taughannock

Yeah since they’re shutting down the coal or doing the conversion no warm water out of Millikan anymore......used to be awesome but not so much anymore Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    Laker Fishing off Taughannock

I gotcha I will check it out because that’s a great place to fish in the winter......I still see people fishing from there off land when I’m on my boat in the summer! After the holidays I will head up and let you know what’s up! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    Cayuga Winter/Spring fishing on Cayuga

Just throw some different depths out there with some different stick baits and see how you do. This is my favorite time fish with fish being everywhere from try surface to the deep. And be careful......sounds a little overboard but doesn’t hurt to invest into a surviver suit this time of the year especially if you are going out alone. Laker Fishing off Taughannock

Yes, You can fish in front of Millikan outflow still. I’ve only ever fished the outflow by water, but would love to fish it from land. Just never really knew how to get down there. I will try those pink rooster tails on the Lakers! Is is fairly easy to get there by land? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    Laker Fishing off Taughannock

Yes indeed it’s nice not having to go down 100 plus feet to get them! As long as you can bare the cold! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Nice Lakers right off Taughannock today. Freezing and windy but worth it for a few dinners! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Trolling Southern End of Cayuga Lake

Well as of now it’s pretty basic, I have 4 braided lines going out with flour more liters, all have a dipsy diver, flashser, then spoon on the end. Have tried all various colors of dipsys, flashes and spoons. Have been fishing in depths from 60-120 ft of water. This winter I’m putting two down riggers on each sides of the boat, so that will be a whole new learning curve with like and gear etc. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  14. I’m new to that trolling game and have been fishing the southern end of Cayuga Lake all the way up to the power plant. Have trolled both sides east and west and have had some good beginners luck by Taughannock and the Boy Scout Camp. If anyone has any tips or strategy that works for them I would be all ears.
