Fall in Braddock Bay , Genesee or port Ontario from 1987-2003 

Where would you rate current fishery now compared to then ?

I went up to Salmon river steelhead fishing 5 or so years ago on guided drift boat and Wirrling disease was killing a lot of steelhead .Guide was bringing some of effected fish to DEC .

What is the state of steelhead fishery ? Seems like majority or reports I read they seem small is this due to large numbers of matures lost to disease ?

Not sure if these things go away or continue until all are lost .Thank you for any info

Hoping thinners cure paint completely outdoors in the sun .I never had much luck with them 25 yrs ago so thought black might be the new 40 .Spent a ton rehabing boat bought last October and on shoe string budget for my first trip this year .I was going to put scent on them upon deployment wth 10-12 ‘ leader . Is clear  my best bet I buy new ? Thank you in advance

I have some older dipseys I was going to hit with scotch brite and paint ,I see many people going black on dipseys .

Taking son up in August on redemption trip , last year I hyped whole drive up and we only got 7hrs and nobody was hooking up !

Hi guys , 

I love this site 25 yes ago I fished the spring derby out of Olcott at Hedleys place for about 7 yrs. I live 8 hrs from there but loved the fishing the chance of landing a derby winner , prizes were fantastic -19’ grady plus F150 salmon division Brown trout was Aluminum boat all set up.Met people from all over and had some awesome days on the lake and some very late nights at local watering holes never won but had a blast trying .Sorry about length of post bottom line is there any reasonable places to stay in wilson for spring derby that isn’t booked a year in advance ?

Always stayed at small room with boat in walking distance it was sweet.Putting together used boat purchased last fall hoping to get back into Ontario fishing .Thank you in advance .

I was thinking about getting a new Lowrance hds live 7 which comes with inland lakes maps but they don’t say whether it covers great lakes or not .Can anyone tell me definitively if Lake Ontario is included in stock unit ?

I brought my son up in same size boat and fished the same water and couldnt get it done !

lake didnt live up to my hype with son but he s a diehard fisherman and is going to give me a redemption trip 😥

I was out with the armada off power plant 8/26-28 th and I wasnt the only one not catching so I didnt feel to bsd but wanted to get him a king in the worst way .Nicely done!
